That little green monkey with a silly hat is off their back!

Not yet, but I'm marking '73 off the score. RTR

no in the LSU game . Score was really close and LSU dominated the game but refs gave ALabama only 1 penalty while the refs gave LSU 7 penalties. So this should have been Alabama’s 2nd loss and no championship.

Absolutely right! He was a complete washout in the pros and a lying ahole to boot.

Lots of big-time college coaches wash out in the NFL. Saban, Steve Spurrier, and Lou Holtz being notable examples. I think it has to do with that in college, these guys are dictators over their players and really don't have to worry about massaging egos to get the most out of their players. Whereas in the pros, the coach can be at the mercy of his stars. Other than Jimmy Johnson who has made the leap and won a championship? NOTE: Barry Switazer doesn't count; I could have coached that Cowboy team to a championship.

Since ND supports abortion, perhaps they would abort that defense.

Once again a pathetically overrated number one team fails to field minimal competition. Ga and TAMU were both far superior teams to ND.

Sabin?? Please, Bama’s players were way stronger and faster than ND’s. It ain’t all coaching since you can’t make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t.

Stanford scored a TD that was not counted. Bad call.

It’s not mine, but I thought it pretty darn good.

I’m not a huge AL fan, but I dislike ND simply because of the way they are perennially over-ranked. This was shown especially well this year with last night’s game.

ND shouldn’t have been in the top 5 after last night.

"It’ll be interesting to see what kind of win/loss records Saban will rack up over his career since he’s still pretty young."

They're already starting to use the word dynasty. And, a way too early, comparison to Bear Bryant.

At one point, someone said that Katherine Webb had been on TV more than the Notre Dame offense, lol.

So, Alabama has been overated for the last four years? I wonder how they get away with that for so long.

I guess it just shows how the media and others are in love with Alabama, eh?

Poor UT. Nobody cares about them now, but hey, they’ve still got The Longhorn Network.

I think that is funny. Both my sisters and several cousins went to ut, and they were po'ed that they couldn't watch the horns on TV.

But ultimately Sabin picks the Grade A chickens and has the best recipe for chicken salad. Colleges which boast the best recruiting class don’t always win National Championships. Yes, of course the players won the game last night but Sabin set them up for success.

NO, no, no—you misunderstand. Notre Dame was ranked #1. I wagered bama would stomp them and so went the game.

Keep in mind, that Texas A&M beat Bama on their home field with a freshman QB.
