Attorney points out transparency requires notice before meetings

FreedomWatchUSA.org chief Larry Klayman, who earlier established Judicial Watch and made a name for himself by suing Bill and Hillary Clinton, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and a slew of foreign dictators, is asking Barack Obama to play by the rules with his establishment of a team to advise him about gun control.

Klayman, whose cases against Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad have made headlines, became so well-known that a character in the TV series “West Wing,” Harry Klaypool, was based on his work.

Now he’s jumping all over the plans by Obama to have vice president Joe Biden head up a team to offer plans for gun control.

Obama has said a comprehensive approach is needed to reduce the nation’s gun violence – much more than just resurrecting a now-dead ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips.

So he appointed Biden to a working group to look at proposals such as universal background checks for gun buyers, government tracking of the movement of weapons and stiffer penalties.

The reaction follows the massacre in Newtown, Conn., when an individual is accused of killing his mother, then going to a nearby school and killing 20 children and another five adults.

Reports confirm White House aides have been collecting information and ideas from those such as New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a longtime opponent of guns.

The plan is for the Biden team to make recommendations to Obama this month.

Now Klayman has written to the White House, addressing his letter to “Barack Hussein Obama, President (Designate).”

Hillary did the same thing with her Hillarycare committee back in the day. A group of doctors sued for open meetings and eventually won.

As a sidenote, the Federal Judge hearing the case believed that some WH appointees committed perjury in his court. He referred the matter to the DOJ, but the Deputy ATT. General refused to pursue the matter. His name? Eric Holder.

Since the DOJ wouldn’t honor the referral of the judge, he used the only tool he had at his command. He fined the US government the maximum—$250,000. The Clintons and Holder were happy for taxpayers to pay the fine.

For those of you that like to play golf……….how would you like this amenity available each week?

And those that do not play golf, I suspect you will come to the same conclusion as me and the golfers……………ridiculously wasteful and a good example of our Highest Gov’t Officials at work and getting paid for their disregard and the average American citizen.

Every Friday the vice president takes a helicopter designated as Marine Two from the vice president’s residence in northwest Washington to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland . He then hops on Air Force Two to fly back to his home in Delaware . At the end of the weekend, he returns on Air Force Two, usually a Boeing C-32.
On Saturdays in warm weather, Biden regularly returns to Andrews on the airplane to play golf at the base with President Obama. After the game, he flies back to Delaware . On Sunday evening, he returns on the plane to Washington — all at taxpayer expense.
