florida did it best.
Passage of such a laws by municipal government bodies are actually a criminal acts. Those elected officians are removed from office and become defendants in criminal cases.
What was happening was local municipal bodies had such feel good nonsense laws and were using them for harrasment of citizens based on the “they can’t afford lawyers to defend them” rule. When the rule was passed by the legislature, there was a panic of local fiefdoms rushing to repeal preempted laws before thei county/city comisars went to jail.
local politicians are usually local business men/women (see real estate brokers, local lawyers, local developers, wives / husbands of local business owners).
Make it toxic to their business.
How many of them are NYC type carpet baggers?
Black neighborhoods? In Burlington? Is there such a thing in all of Vermont?
Thanks for the info. Funny how the MSM buried that story. I vaguely remember reading about it somewhere on the web.
Bernie Sanders went from mayor of Burlington to the Senate.
Enough said for Burlington!
