A great chance to meet other like-minded people in a casual setting once per month.
We meet up on the second Saturday of each month at a Twin Cities metro area coffee shop, restaurant or gathering spot. Open carry is welcomed, but not required**.
This is NOT an "event" or "rally" or "protest." It's simply friends and new friends meeting for coffee. Period.
LOCATION: (metro suburban location just minutes NE of DT Mpls) Given the current climate of discrimination and vitriol directed at law abiding firearms owners/carriers, we won't be posting the specific locations of 2S/2A Coffee & Chat meet ups. Here is some solid advice....scan your attendees for probable government plants. Be especially cautious in chiming agreement to statements that are outright inflamatory and outright inciteful, especially if this person isn’t known to you and asks to ‘meet up’ etc. Watch this person carefully, and after they leave. Get their name and Google the hell out of them. If there is nothing on Google, be suspicious. Ask where they work, and what they do.
You can bet your ass the government is planning on stuff like this. They did it here in Georgia with a bunch of cranky old men talking out their butts who are now about to head for prison. Vetting anyone and everyone is the prime directive. If no one there doesn’t know them, then be cautious....

I’m in Bachman’s. I like to stay low key as well too.. I don’t want to be at a meeting where anyone can find out about it (just send an e-mail)
I wish them luck, I understand their mission. I just prefer to be a screen name. That way those that would wish a carry holder harm don’t know who I am.
I was all excited, because I thought it was going to be a Freeper meet-up, then I saw the location, then I discovered the warnings.
Then I realized it wasn’t FreeRepublic.
Oh, well.
