Nice that Levin sees the top-of-the-hour-radio-news is all a big propaganda echo chamber. He's the first news talker I've ever heard call them out. It has been that way for decades.

I heard on the radio today 0bama is going issue an executive order on gun control, this thing takes a 20 round mag and I’m afraid it may get outright banned.

Ann Compton used the operative word "may" that Obama could do an EO. Executive Orders are only for the Executive branch of government, and an illegal EO to ban guns by Obama would ultimately flop.

Only after it goes to court. And that would take time. My application is good for only 30 days.

It’s two fold. An illegal EO gun ban would flop in the execution of it and it would ultimately fail in court.

Congress can void an EO within 30 days. It’s legally-binding only to Exec Branch personnel; no one else.

I have more 20-30-40rnd AR-15, 15-20-25rnd AR-10, 29rnd G32/.357sig, 11-13rnd .50cal (Beowulf) mags, than my calculator can count. Good luck JBTs, in taking them away. Or even finding them. If it goes thru.

I’ve heard that it’ll be tied-up in the courts for a long time. If Roberts screws the 2nd over, as he did w/ 0bummerCare, there will be trouble. I sure hope it never comes to that point...

Your 57 can be single-rnd loaded, as all of mine can. What hi-cap mags, occifer?

Looking on Gunbroker for 5.7 ammo. 50 rounds are going for $65.

My gun shop hasn’t had any in stock for months and months.

Better grab what you can. I checked 7 sites for 5.7; all out of stock.

Here’s some great deals, if they ever get it in stock:

I don’t think you can get it anywhere except Gunbroker or gun shows.

And the “Nation’s Gun Show” I went to that opened at 3pm was sold out at 3:15.

Glad Mark corrected that. I was just ready to post that I have several select-fire, suppressed AR-15s & AR-10s, w/ necessary Fed Tax Stamps, as “Collector”. Those were all purchased, with only 3-5mos wait, back in 2004-5-6. Good luck, today.

I’m glad I’ve been stockpiling ammo for years. Even back in Sept/Oct, it was plentiful and cheap and I bought-in my last online shipments. Then, POOF!; it’s all hell breaking loose.

I remember in 2009 that a local FFL had top-shelf FNs for fairly cheap on a promo, and ammo was plentiful, but pricey. I’m almost regretting that I passed on that caliber. Several friends have them Class III, w/ suppressors, but no ammo. Useless as teats on a bull, now. Like a vehicle wo/ fuel.

I’m figuring since it is an official NATO sidearm and in many other country’s police agencies like canada ammo has to be available at some point.

It’s an investment in the future as I look at it. I’ve been wrong before once but I was wrong about that ;o)

It’s a good investment, regardless. I just hope we all have a future in America, so you can enjoy the 57. The next few months will be telling.
