The leader of an anti-government militia in Alaska who proclaimed that "God's law" trumps "man's law" was sentenced on Tuesday to nearly 26 years in prison for a plot to kill government employees he portrayed as his enemies.

"Diplomacy can be important. God's law does trump man's law. Many government employees and leaders are our enemies, and some of the top leaders are unspeakably anti-American and evil. However, neither fact justifies murder. Those facts so far just justify every imaginable lawful form of resistance to tyranny and evil until such time as eitehr (1) freedom wins, or (2) a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce us under absolute despotism. At that point, it is our right, it is our duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for our future security. "

In other words, I fully expect we are all going to dither around until it is too late.

God’s law does trump man’s law.

Since God has not spoken to me or any of my friends lately I’m not sure just how he wants this law applied. I have been from church to church to church and they all have a different answer. This guy is a moron and does not represent any conservative that I know!!!!!

I believe not more than an hour ago I read on a thread here on FR where some guy in California threatened to shoot up as many kindergarden schools as he could get to without stopping, the authorities released him because they had no charges. They found about 5 or 6 guns in his bedroom but didn’t seem too excited about it.

You can call me paraniod but...After posting replys to some of the gun grabber threads my ‘puter started acting “funny”. Not funny ha-ha but funny as in not functioning properly. Not before, not something it’s ever done before.

I have what is supposed to be a very good security program. System suite, recommended by a fellow who runs the IT department for a large hospital. It shows a problem that cannot be fixed. You click on the problem and as it starts scanning, poof, the program just shuts down.

As they say, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean someones not out to get you!
