National Cathedral to wed same-sex couples [Celebrates Sodomy]

When laws went into effect in three states for same-sex couples to marry, many were quick to line up at their city halls to exchange vows. Now they may do so in one of the nation's most prominent churches -- the Washington National Cathedral.

Most Americans know the house of God, also called the Cathedral Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, as a place where sacred rites are carried out on behalf of the nation. It has been host to the funerals of numerous presidents and of inaugural prayer services for four presidents, including Barack Obama.

But it is also an active house of worship in the Episcopalian Church, said the Cathedral's dean, Gary Hall. The denomination has developed a blessing rite that mirrors current wedding ceremonies for heterosexual couples and allows each bishop to decide to allow same-sex marriages in their churches or not.

The Cathedral is an incredible building with a long and equally incredible history; I’ve been inside it many times. But I will never go again.

Dearly beloved, today we are gathered here to celebrate the bonds of sodomy , in the rites of fudge packing as performed and exemplified by the minions of hell.

The Church of England was founded on sexual license. Why is anyone surprised it advocated sexual license?

I turn 50 this year and I will never marry.

I will co-habitate as society sees it but, I will marry privately before friends and family.

I will not, however, engage in a typical contract for marriage.

I will blow money on an agreement, like they use to do when dowries were part of the union.

Prediction: Catholic churches will soon be sued and Priests and Bishops will soon be criminalized for refusing to perform gay “marriages.”

yep

They can pretend as hard as they want, but this is not marriage. They are not married. Marriage is a thousand year old word that means something. It means a man and a woman. Just as a coin with 2 tails is not a nickle.

They should just be honest and call it what it is- a pseudo-marriage, fugazy wedding, shama-lamma-ding-dong, knock-off numptials, brideless aisle surfing, matri-phony, huckster hitched, warped wedlock, vaginas with vows...

I have no care whatsoever if someone who is homosexual marries. There has never been a ban on homosexuals marrying. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman. The constant attempts by the liberals to re-write human history and the dictionary does not change that.

There will be no marriage at the national cathedral, simply because it’s not the union of a man and a woman. What I find fascinating is that those who believe that the meaning of marriage is malleable are typically the first to dismiss polygamy. But once again, the only standard that liberals understand and celebrate are double standards.

I’ve asked those who believe that marriage can mean something different what they would feel about a father wedding his daughter or son; they say this is wrong. I’ve asked what’s the difference between that and these homosexual unions - what right do they have to determine just when the meaning of the word has changed enough? Shouldn’t a polygamous collective be recognized as being married as well? Why can’t a woman wed her cat?

They’ll ramble on about family units and other failed reasons, but it all comes down to the simple fact: Absent an universally agreed viewpoint as to what a word means, attempting to justify any limitation is a double standard.

They’ll fall back to the debate over interracial marriages and how well that’s worked out. And then I’ll pull out an 1890’s dictionary, turn to the word marriage, and there it is yet again - the union of a man and a woman. Nothing in that civil rights fight deviated from this universally agreed viewpoint as to what marriage means.

The only downfall to this farce is that they will attempt to use the law to force others to their viewpoint. That freedom of speech, freedom of religion means nothing. If such core viewpoints of the constitution are so easily discarded, then what other viewpoints can be just as easily cast aside?

And then I think about all the propaganda about conservatives I hear from liberals, and it all starts to make sense. Don’t vote for conservatives, they’ll create a religious theocracy! It’s not just disinformation, it is the mirroring of their own viewpoint, that the government is there to propagate and enforce their religious beliefs.

Once again I state, I have nothing against homosexuals marrying. I don’t think there should be a sexual preference test involved in issuing a marriage license. They can marry any single person of the opposite sex they desire. But I will not call their same sex unions ‘marriage.’

Of course, I’ve probably committed a felony in saying that, if not now, sometime in the future. And the liberal religious police will hound me for harboring such an outlandish belief that is counter to theirs. But I will continue to resist their religious theocracy with every fiber of my being.

To seal the “deal” — it’s not marriage — the participants should, at the altar and as a nod to The Exorcist, abuse their genitalia with crucifixes. No amount of sacrilege is enough to the adulterated Evil that has become the Episcopal church.

Pretty much what occurred in Sodom and Gomorrah - and we all know how that ended!

For those of us that know and love the Son of God, Jesus Christ, fear not - we have the sheep’s blood on our doors and Lord in Heaven will pass us in the night when He send the angel of death!

I don’t think so. I believe that will be a child sacrifice done only in the Temple in Jerusalem.

As for the topic at hand, what is with it being okay to practice pagan religion but not Biblical religion in our nation? When we do not tell pagans that what they are doing is wrong, is that not giving consent? God said it was in the Old Testament.

Next thing you will know is that the Cathedral will install K-Y jelly dispensers next to the holy water.

That’s because these same people are practising those perversions.

The people who wish to become homosexual Priests and Bishops of this fallen chapter of worship are the practioners of these practices, that the Bible they portend to obey has condemned.

That makes them not only sinful, but enticing others to the same sin. This Church has come under the influence of Satan, those who wish to be saved should leave. It will only get worse.
