A national radio host made an excellent suggestion the other day that we conservatives should pursue with vigor. The Oppressive-left loves to use simple talking point slogans to hammer their lies into the publics conscious. These simpleton lies are designed to crowd out real thought and logic of the truth.
It is about time for our side to get on board and come up with our own talking point slogans we can all use to hammer the truth into them (rhetorically speaking of course)
This posting is to advance that idea and get the ball rolling.
The technique Oppressives is basically short easy memorized phrases that tare design by them to shut down debate and put us on the defensive. As a fellow denizen of the blogosphere I’m sure you come across these little talking points all over the place.
The parameters are thus: Short phrases that pack the truth in a small space.
Example: Gun Control Kills People.
The oppressives don’t like this phrase – hence they use lying phrases like ‘Gun safety’. Well, since they don’t like the phrase ‘Gun Control’ we’ll use that – adding the point that it Kills People which it does – reference the city of Chicago.
SO, IMHO here are some ideas of my own – trash them if you want, but think about better alternatives. We are battling for our country’s future here – we need to fight fire with fire. -------------------------------------------------- Labels for the Leftists:
Let’s start with the label we use for the jackals on the other side: Oppressives or oppressive-left.
Given that the Leftists like to be the folks who get to label themselves and everyone else they’ve transitioned over to the positive moniker “Progressive” - their idea is that who could be against progress and all? We all know that is a load of barack- their ideas are thinly disguised Collectivism. But they use that label to fool people into supporting their freedom destroying agenda.
So we turn that around with the use of the term Oppressive – who could be for Oppression?
It is preferable to use the word Left and Leftist and a generic term for the other side – but DON’T use the term ‘Liberal’ – again this is just another lie from n the Left- they want nothing in terms of Liberty – the root word for ‘Liberal’.
If you prefer we can get a little more detailed and have it Oppressive-Socialists or some variation.
But I for one refuse to let those petty tyrants get away with such blatantly deceptive labels. -------------------------------------------------- Labels for their ideology:
We also need to properly label their agenda – it’s Socialism plain and simple. They try to deny it all day long but they can never seem to come up with a way of differentiating their agenda from that ideology.
Of course, all the other labels for their ideology are out as there as well: Marxism, Communism, Fascism, Stalinism, Statism, Leninism, Maoist, etc. and so forth – these are all variations on the same them as Collectivism.
And just to help destroy their little Nazism lie – throw in ‘National’ along with the label Socialism, As in National Socialism or Socialist National agenda.
Again this is a Blatant lie they been perpetrating for years – it’s time to put a stop to it. -------------------------------------------------- Taxation/Debt Obama is bankrupting the country.

We are battling for our country’s future here – we need to fight fire with fire.
We need to come up with a series of talking points we all can use to hammer the Left into submission.
Have at it!
What we need it multiple offensive fronts opened up.
At this point I think the states themselves are our only hope.
Oh, and prayer. A lot of it.
Talking point: The left believes that the 2nd Amendment protects the rights of criminals to murder, rape, and rob unarmed citizens.
Talking point: The left believes that no one should be allowed to possess firearms, other than the leftists.

Well, have to agree with you on that – and on your other point.
But it would still help if we could frame the debate in truth instead of the lies of the Left.

Obama and the Democrats! Bringing the same success they had in Detroit, Philadelphia, Illinois, Maryland, California, Cuba, Venezuela, Greece, Spain, Jonestown, Zimbabwe, etc. to America as a whole!

Those are good – the Oppressives want to demonize supporters of Liberty – we need to throw their slimy lies right back in their faces.
Good ideas. Especially using terms like Gun Control instead of the usual liberal monikers. Conservatives need to take the lead....and not let “Oppressives” drive the discussion
Too many who profess to be conservative are way too worried about what MSNBC will think.....we see that on issues like Obama Eligibility, Illegal Aliens, Todd Akin, and also 2nd Amendment issues. I prefer your ideas than the usual PhonyCon RINO “Sean Hannity is Great American...so lets do Amnesty”

Stalin and Hitler were for gun control...how’d that turn out?
If I may be so Bold – My personal wish would be to see a competitor to Fox news – not that they don’t do a great service as far as they do….. well at least they’re better than the rest of the BSM and Oppressive propaganda outfits like the Mostly Socialist National Bull S…t Channel.
There is a dire need for another Conservative new outlet, and I dare say maybe more than one.
We need to take back the culture from the Left – or at least provide a decent alternative to the Rot they push on everyone.
I think a lot more people are going to have to feel a lot more pain before they see the light.
Low information voters are insulated from the bad policies of the left because they don’t have any skin in the game.
Talking point: Drugs are already illegal. How’s that working out?
