Oh yeah we are going to let double murderers out on parole and then take the guns away from citizens. I don't think so.

So, this man kidnaps, rapes, tortures and then shoots two young teen girls. Gets the death penalty and that is reduced to life and then paroled. He kills again. Hmmm... perfect story for why WE NEED OUR GUNS> IMHO.

Hmm... 70 year old murderer of teenage girls from Vallejo, California. Has anyone established the whereabouts of this fellow around 1969?

Jumping to conclusions? He might have been yelled at when he was a kid, or maybe he was a bedwetter. Cut him some slack.

California has been called The Land of Fruits & Nuts.

The judge & the parole board are nuts!

Lets not forget the guy who ambushed firemen on Christmas. He was walking free after beating his grandmother to death with a hammer.

He KIDNAPS, RAPES, and MURDERS 2 teenage girls. ALL illegal acts obviously. A parole board, AKA Accessories to more murder, release him. He then MURDERS his MOTHER. But don’t worry, he was REGISTERED(”We’re all safe now!) as a sex offender. Has anyone checked to see if any little girls have gone missing in the area since his release?

Government: “Give us your guns. We’ll keep you safe.”

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. This SHOULD be the lead story of every news program in CA.

We also need accountability for Parole Boards. They should be in the dock with the murderer as accessories.

On August 12, 1965, at 5:30 p.m., Miss W, fn. 4 20 years of age, a student nurse and an employee at a Montgomery Ward store in Richmond, was driving out of the store's parking lot. While she was stopped at a stop sign, defendant [71 Cal.2d 824] approached and asked for a ride down the street to his car, which he said was stalled. She twice refused his request, but he reached through the open window on the passenger side, unlocked the door and entered. He exhibited a knife and threatened to use it on Miss W if she refused to take him where he wanted to go. She drove him to a parking lot of Golden Gate Fields, in Berkeley.

After Miss W stopped her car, defendant produced an insulated or covered wire and bound her hands behind her back. He then removed part of her clothing and raped her. During the act of sexual intercourse defendant told Miss W that he would have to kill her, put his hands around her throat and choked her until she lost consciousness. When she regained consciousness, defendant untied her hands upon her promise not to attempt to escape, permitted her to dress and drove her back to the Montgomery Ward Store. During the return trip he stated that he was married and had four children; fn. 5 that he was glad he had not killed her; that he was sorry for what had happened and that he would not do it again. Defendant was convicted on counts of kidnaping and raping Miss W.

When you read the account of this man’s long, long list of vicious crimes, it is absolutely astounding that the parole board would ever have considered releasing such a man. The story is quite stunning. This guy should have been put down a long time ago.

“... cut him some slack”.

You’re right, laweeks. He could have been cut from the basketball team or not made the lead role in the school play. How could I have been so insensitive?! LOL!

Keep your windows closed and have a legal gun.

For personal security, guns beat knives quite a bit.

Awwwww! The poor Osama voter is an orphan now! If this doesn’t prove we need more “assault weapon” control, nothing ever will.

In California you must keep a handgun unloaded and locked in a secure case, preferably in the trunk, separate from the ammunition. I mention the “preferably” with respect to trunk because it gets a little iffy when it comes to PU/SUVs.

I don't think this country reguards attacks on children very seriously, especially female children....why was this guy ever released when he KILLED two girls?....

just like that guy who used a chain saw to chop at a young girls arms and was released years later, when he went about killing another woman..

How many millions of dollars did this guy cost the state of California before they released him to kill again?

Maybe more than a few California politicians need to examine their consciences.

Electric chair? Oh, no! That would be cruel and unusual punishment. Drugs? Oh, no! that would also be cruel and unusual punishment. No one likes to get stuck with a needle! Just let him go! He’s suffered enough!

Those girls’ parents are most likely dead by now, but they probably have brothers, sisters and cousins who now have to relive this horror. And their parents died knowing this excretable villian was still eating their taxes.
