The Holy City of Jerusalem has been covered in a brilliant white blanket after the worst snowstorm in 20 years.
Schools and highways have been closed as up to eight inches of snow piled up in the city centre by this afternoon.
Israel and much of the surrounding region has been hit by five days of rain, wind and snow as temperatures have dipped below freezing.

Rand Paul’s fault.
Although, if I can keep up with these people, I believe they put severe snow into the "global warming" category; cause, the warming causes severe weather including snow??? It is hard to follow the logic.
H/T to the Drudge Report.
Wonder if God is going to put up his train set.
They really just want money,....for their Global Schemes.
I didn’t know it ever snowed out there.
The picture of the snow-encrusted palm trees just looks surreal!
I love that comment. Funny, but I really wanted to put up my childhood train set for my family this Christmas, but just didn’t get to it. I have to get my priorities straight!
I think Socialists are moving back to “Overpopulation” as their next reason for implementing theft.
Wow....snow in Jerusalem; meanwhile here in Virginia it’s 70 degrees in January.
Ha. My son is over there right now and freezing his touchas off :)
If its too hot? it’s gorebull warming
If its too cold? That’s gorebull warming too.
They have it all worked out
The coastal cities, such as Tel Aviv, never get any snow. Jerusalem is up in the mountains, so it sometimes gets a little snow, but hardly ever more than an inch.
LOL. He’s experiencing a rare event and I hope he’s taking glorious pictures!!! G-d bless and keep him.
Children makes snow angles
Notice the difference in the snowmen the Jews build and the snowmen the falsestinians build?
Jews: Carrots, scarves, and hats.
falsies: PA flags, masks, and weapons.
Stop Global Snowing!

Jerusalem’s “Potential Lake” Full, Strong Stream of Water
Yam Kinneret’s (Sea of Galilee) current level.
Kinneret at highest level since 2007
Quote from article: “ It has risen 124 centimeters so far this rainy season, and there is a good chance that the Degania Dam, which allows the lake to flow into the Jordan River to the Dead Sea, will be opened, when the water level in the lake reaches its optimal level.”
My kids used to put Hershey’s kisses on the flat cars, and promoted one to be the engineer. I miss those days.
When was the last time water was released from Degania Dam? 1994?
I’ll bet the kids did not waste any time in figuring out how to assemble snow man figures.
THE gospel according to the apostle AL....
Global Warming NutJobs will blame this storm on Israel not letting Palestine kill all Middle East Jews...and thus caused the Global Warming that led to the Snowstorm...or something like that
I didn’t know Al Gore visited there.
Global warming is unfalsifiable. All observations confirm it at the 100% level.
I think we’ll be seeing more snow events like this in Yerushalayim in the coming years.
Thanks Ernest, 8 whole inches, gosh, that’s almost time to call the snowplow weather around here. ;’)
We had over a foot last week, but the January thaw has started, and will be here for a week.
Slush! My not favorite!
And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow:
2 Sam 23:20 (KJV)
One Israeli once told me that, of the all the verses in the Bible, that's the only one we can be sure is true, because if anyone was going to make up a story, they would never include such an unbelievable detail as snow in Israel.
