So we should stay in Iraq and Afghanistan? Should we invade Iran and all other Islamic s***holes? What about Mexico, Central America, and South America? Africa? Where does it end?
Iran has been identified as the #1 state sponsor of terrorism for many decades; they’ve declared war on us over and over and we didn’t act. Nothing was done about them, so the problem spread across many other countries. Now it’s in Egypt, and it’s starting to grow in Ethiopia. If we pull back to our own borders, then they will follow us there. Bad enough that a “pre-9/11 mentality” has already been identified in the thinking at DC. We surely didn’t wait for Germany to attack us on home soil—as soon as they declared war on us after Pearl Harbor, off we went to meet them in Europe.
