Hannity foresees states leaving union
Daily Caller ^ | 1-11-13 | Jeff Poor

On his Friday radio show, conservative talker and Fox News host Sean Hannity warned that the United States may fall apart if tax rates remain high.

“The states are now fighting and battling against their own federal government,” Hannity said. ”Same thing with individuals. If you live in a state like New York, New Jersey, California [or] one of these high-tax states [where] 60-plus cents of every dollar goes to taxes, you’ll say, ‘What the hell am I doing this for?’”

“A lot of people have told me that,” Hannity continued. “A lot of people are moving. … I noticed that Bobby Jindal moved to remove his state income tax. He’s not stupid. You know what’s going to happen in Louisiana? The same thing that is happening in Texas and Florida — their populations are soaring. They’re doing a lot better. State governments are fine. They’re surviving. They don’t have the property taxes they do in New York, which is obscene. In New York, you just pay and pay and pay and pay.”

--snip--

“People that are fed up with a power hungry, radicalized, abusive federal government intruding into every aspect of our lives,” Hannity continued. “People are going to say they’re fed up, and states are going to want more liberty and more freedom. They’re not going to want to tax their citizens to death anymore. If this pattern continues and gets worse and worse and worse, I can see at some point the states saying, ‘Forget it. I don’t want to be a part of this union anymore.’”

Hannity rejected the idea that secession is necessarily a “radical concept,” arguing that the Declaration of Independence is itself a “radical document.”

Just wonder when Hannity, Coulter, Beck, Malkin, etc...start attacking Secessionists like they do Birthers?

You know that this is what the RINOs will do...especially if it means the GOPe cannot win elections.

Just wonder how many of our non-3-digit IQs fall for the RINO PhonyCon spiel this time?

The corporate handlers that spend money on advertizing have informed “conservative” talk show hosts that no secession talk is allowed. Corporations are the biggest statist around and hate secession talk, hate the republic and hate states rights.

Well the thing to do is watch Texas, things are not bad enough yet. But Texas is the only state that could revert back to an independent republic (secede) and get away with it. So keep your eye on Texas but don’t hold your breath, lol.

If at first you don’t secede, try, try again!

Only as moot as King Georges pronouncements to the same effect.

The empire they intend to hold us hostage to will be pushed into crumbling by those of us trapped as hostages within. How you might ask? Simple, we merely have to uses our influence to push the right buttons and direct the course of affairs towards a more swift self-destruction and corruption. You may have noticed how this is already happening.

You guys have it all wrong, its not secession but expulsion, take Illinois for example, the entire state is a red state except for Cook county. What you do is have a private meeting of all State Senators except those from Cook County and they vote to exclude Cook County from the State. Then all the State Reps meet and do the same. Now the State Government of Illinois is reconstituted both houses impeach the Governor and elect a new one pending general elections. Done. Illinois except for Cook county is reconstituted without the offending county which is on its own. The State is solidly red and now treats Cook County as a foreign or separate state.

States where there is a red region that is dominated by the rest of the state could do the same but that would be state secession and there should be red states nearby to offer assistance. And finally the US could also do it, with the Red House members voting to expulse the handful of Blue States from the Union. Then the Senate without those Blue States’ Senators convenes and votes on the expulsion. Done. The house impeaches the president and the Senate ratifies it. Given the exceptional circumstance the Senate elects an Interim President and the House ratifies it. Expulsion is much better than secession because you are protecting the institutions not replacing them. Secession should only be used where a state is purple with a large red area. The point is to keep as much of the US intact as possible.

Secession would be key in a location such as Western NY where the Niagara Power Authority is. Also parts of California are red and that would give the Red US access to the Pacific. What the Blue states would do in such an event would be open to conjecture, I am sure they would be unhappy about it.

Remember that with expulsion their unstable governments and burgeoning populations would quickly render them disaster areas. Also remember that except for the Navy most military instillations are in Red States. Food for thought.
