I posted this elsewhere, but I like it, so here it is. All of my stuff you feel has merit, please feel free to repost or clip anything I write, with or w/o attribution, I could not care any less about that. If my words are ammo, “Fire for effect.”

Here it is.

Stick to your guns, no matter what.

If they come to take them by force, they have declared war on the Constitution, and on you. At that point, war is joined, just as it was on another big gun confiscation raid on April 19, 1775. If it was legal in 2012, it’s legal in 2013 and it will be forever. If they say otherwise, they are liars and traitors and oath breakers and domestic enemies.

If you are disarmed and led away in cuffs, are you so sure you’ll be bailed out? And not taken to a “new place” with “new rules”?

Every survivor of every genocide says the same: when they come to take your guns, shoot them. Make them work for it, and THEIR system is overwhelmed, because they don’t have 20 million FLEAs to do armed battles all over the country, instead of nice polite arrest raids like those that that Glen “Ghandi” Beck envisions, with the NRA lawyers throwing your bail and suing the pants off the .gov.

It’s like the Solzhenitzn paragraph “how we burned later in the camps” because they didn’t resist the GRU/KGB in the lobbies and stairwells with axes and knives.

Entire divisions of Russian troops hiked home from WW1 in 1917/18, carrying their rifles and swords and other sidearms. Very early on, Lenin decreed that public safety demanded they all be turned in, under penalty of death. And so they were disarmed, but not the Party members! Then came the purges, the Great Terror, the gulags, and tens of millions of dead. So well preserved was the fiction, that most Russians, when arrested, thought, “Gee, there must be some mistake. I haven’t done anything wrong. They’ll let me go in a few hours.” (Wrong anwer.)

If you give up your arms, you are placing your entire trust in the permanent future benevolence of the U.S. govt. This trust is invariably fatal. The German gun registration laws and limits on “military” weapons (then, Mausers etc) were put in in the 1920s Weimar Republic,years before Hitler.

They were all common sense and reasonable gun control laws, I’m sure today’s liberals would agree 100%. Then Hitler comes along, and uses the list to first disarm, and then ghetto-ize or “deport” and finally gas the Jews and others, killing millions.

Genocide, using the “common sense” gun registration lists to locate their most dangerous enemies. But first, they just come to pick up the weapons. “No trouble, foks!” They come for the mass arrests later, when the people are disarmed.

Millions of Polish Jews were rounded up this way, when the German police only needed a 1-10 ratio to thier victims. 100 German military police, 4-fs in their forties, bottom of the barrel conscripts, would round up and murder a town of a thousand. Force them to gather, then march groups at gunpoint into the woods for execution. A 1-10 ratio means the killer police are not worried at all. The victims were all disarmed. If they were armed, every village would requre a major military effort.

I’m sorry, I do NOT trust that our .gov won’t turn as mean as the old USSR to its “class enemies,” the MSM’s duly appointed scapegoats, us white racist tea-party terrorists, the bitter clingers.

Folks, they perceive that we are reactionary forces not only standing in the way of social progress and liberal utopia, we are actively blocking it. That makes us pure Evil, since their plan for utopia is pure Good. That means they will come to feel totally justified in seeking a “final solution to the bitter clinger question.”

And once their mortal enemies (that’s us) are disarmed and helpless…the temptation grows to simply do away with them. Bill Ayers thought they would need to murder 10% of the population to achieve their utopia.

As it was with the Turkish Armenians, German Jews, Russian Kulaks, Chinese, Ugandans, Guatemalens, Cambodians, Cubans, Rwandans, and on and on, history’s lesson is clear:

I don’t disagree with anything you said. The leftists would kill us in a heart beat if they thought they could get away with it. They hate us and subjugating us is their end game. Consider that before you register your firearms with them.

I see no reason one should not be prepared to shoot.The 2nd amendment and the constitution is enforceable by ordinary citizes.

However, it would indeed be wise to organize committees of safety in evry County across America.

"Gun Control" is a firm grip, steady breathing, accurate aim (developed by lots of practice), and a slow trigger pull.


The Swiss have got it CORRECT !
We need to learn from the Swiss and implement their "gun control measures" here in the United States right now, today!
These laws are the ones we should shove into the "2nd Amendment Haters" faces.

" Today, military service for Swiss males is universal. At about age 20, every Swiss male goes through 118 consecutive days of recruit training in the Rekrutenschule. ...

Even before required training begins, young men and women may take optional courses with the Swiss army's M57 assault rifle.
They keep that gun at home for three months and receive six half-day training sessions.

From age 21 to 32, a Swiss man serves as a "frontline" troop in the Auszug, and devotes three weeks a year (in eight of the 12 years) to continued training.
From age 33 to 42, he serves in the Landwehr (like America's National Guard); every few years, he reports for two-week training periods.
Finally, from ages 43, to 50, he serves in the Landsturm; in this period, he only spends 13 days total in "home guard courses."

Over a soldier's career he also spends scattered days on mandatory equipment inspections and required target practice.
Thus, in a 30-year mandatory military career, a Swiss man only spends about one year in direct military service.
Following discharge from the regular army, men serve on reserve status until age 50 (55 for officers).

By the Federal Constitution of 1874, military servicemen are given their first equipment, clothing and arms.
After the first training period, conscripts must keep gun, ammunition and equipment an ihrem Wohnort ("in their homes") until the end of their term of service.

Today, enlisted men are issued M57 AUTOMATIC assault rifles and officers are given pistol.
Each reservist is issued 24 rounds of ammunition in sealed packs for emergency use.
(Contrary to Handgun Control's claim that "all ammunition must be accounted for," the emergency ammunition is the only ammo that requires accounting.)

After discharge from service, the man is given a bolt rifle free from registration or obligation.
Starting in the 1994, the government will GIVE ex-reservists assault rifles. Officers carry pistols rather than rifles and are given their pistols the end of their service.

When the government adopts a new infantry rifle, it sells the old ones to the public.

Reservists are encouraged to buy MILITARY ammunition
(7.5 and 5.6mm-5.56 mm in other countries-for rifles and 9 and 7.65 mm Luger for pistols)
which is sold AT COST by the government, for target practice .
Non-military ammunition for long-gun hunting and .22 Long Rifle (LR) ammo are not subsidised, but are subiect to NO sales controls.
Non-military non-hunting ammunition more powerful than .22 LR (such as .38 Spl.) is registered at the time of sale.

Swiss military ammo must be registered IF bought at a private store, BUT NEED NOT BE REGISTERED IF bought at a range.
The nation's 3,000 shooting ranges sell the overwhelming majority of ammunition.
Technically, ammunition bought at the range must be used at the range, but the rule is barely known and almost never obeyed.

The army SELLS a variety of machine guns, submachine guns, anti-tank weapons, anti-aircraft guns, howitzers and cannons.
Purchasers of these weapons require an EASILY OBTAINED cantonal license, and the weapons are registered.
In a nation of six million people, there are at least two million guns, including 600,000 FULLY AUTOMATIC assault rifles, half a million pistols, and numerous machine guns.
Virtually every home has a gun.

Besides SUBSIDIZED military surplus, the Swiss can buy other firearms easily too.
While long guns require NO special purchase procedures, handguns are sold only to those with a Waffenerwerbsschien (purchase certificate) issued by a cantonal authority.
A certificate is issued to every applicant over 18 who is not a criminal or mentally infirm.

There are NO restrictions on the carrying of long guns.
About half the cantons have strict permit procedures for carrying handguns, and the other half have NO rules at all.
There is NO discernible difference in the crime rate between the cantons as a result of the different policies.

Thanks to a lawsuit brought by the Swiss gun lobby, semi-automatic rifles require NO PURCHASE PERMIT and are NOT registered by the government.
Thus, the ONLY long guns registered by the government are FULL AUTOMATICS."

The Swiss have got it CORRECT !
Let's adopt THEIR LAWS !

I too believe that the assault gun is merely a way for the Obama regime to get it’s foot in the door to ban one class of weapon before moving on to banning all guns per the usual government incrementalism method. Funny that I just went to a seminar about the Constitution which laid out all of events and history which led up to it starting all the way back in the 9th century in England due to the people living under extreme tyranny where they would be mutilated and killed if they did not pay taxes or bow to the kings rule. There is no doubt the founding fathers thought long and hard drafting The Constitution borrowing concepts from the experiences of their ancestors who had suffered severely under tyrannical rule. The instructor made it clear using specific examples that our children are not being taught the truth about our history and the suffering that the people had under tyranny and the concept that man will continue to make the same mistakes over and over again no matter what the time period because of his very nature that will never change as long as he doesn’t heed the mistakes and patterns that will reoccur because of it. She also pointed ou that in every instance where the citizens were disarmed, tyranny and oppression followed.

Now I know this is no news to FRpers but it was to many of the teenagers and young adults at the seminar. I think The true story of The Constitution should be taught on liberal college campuses everywhere...:)

Great post!! I wish it could work in America, but we are not Switzerland and Switzerland does not have a radical left wing democrat (Marxist/Communist) party.

As I've stated in the past and even used it as a tagline for several months: "Gun control? It's the OBOTS who are filling up prisons for violent crimes, not the Tea Party."

Look at the gun free democrat political strongholds if you want to see where the violent gun crimes are taking place. These urban "law and order free zones" are created, funded and maintained by Obama's like minded comrades which you and I help maintain with our tax dollars.

If we put our trust in government, what could go wrong? I am confident that Obama would protect each and every American citizen with the same enthusiasm and brilliance that he brought to the protection of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, and the results of disarming ourselves would be no worse than the results of disarming the consulate guards in Benghazi.

I have heard it said on other forums and believe there will come a time when people start registering the names and addresses of LEO’s. They need to lay their head on a pillow each night.

This is not a threat of any form; rather, it is stating the cold, hard truths. People are not going to walk gently into the good night and allow the Constitution to get trampled. As Andrew Napolitano stated, the 2A is the right to shoot tyrants, not deer.

People are waking up to this.
