Bracken: Stick To Your Guns!

I posted this elsewhere, but I like it, so here it is. All of my stuff you feel has merit, please feel free to repost or clip anything I write, with or w/o attribution, I could not care any less about that. If my words are ammo, “Fire for effect.”

If they come to take them by force, they have declared war on the Constitution, and on you. At that point, war is joined, just as it was on another big gun confiscation raid on April 19, 1775. If it was legal in 2012, it’s legal in 2013 and it will be forever. If they say otherwise, they are liars and traitors and oath breakers and domestic enemies.

If you are disarmed and led away in cuffs, are you so sure you’ll be bailed out? And not taken to a “new place” with “new rules”?

Every survivor of every genocide says the same: when they come to take your guns, shoot them. Make them work for it, and THEIR system is overwhelmed, because they don’t have 20 million FLEAs to do armed battles all over the country, instead of nice polite arrest raids like those that that Glen “Ghandi” Beck envisions, with the NRA lawyers throwing your bail and suing the pants off the .gov.

It’s like the Solzhenitzn paragraph “how we burned later in the camps” because they didn’t resist the GRU/KGB in the lobbies and stairwells with axes and knives.

Entire divisions of Russian troops hiked home from WW1 in 1917/18, carrying their rifles and swords and other sidearms. Very early on, Lenin decreed that public safety demanded they all be turned in, under penalty of death. And so they were disarmed, but not the Party members! Then came the purges, the Great Terror, the gulags, and tens of millions of dead. So well preserved was the fiction, that most Russians, when arrested, thought, “Gee, there must be some mistake. I haven’t done anything wrong. They’ll let me go in a few hours.” (Wrong anwer.)

If you give up your arms, you are placing your entire trust in the permanent future benevolence of the U.S. govt. This trust is invariably fatal. The German gun registration laws and limits on “military” weapons (then, Mausers etc) were put in in the 1920s Weimar Republic,years before Hitler.

They were all common sense and reasonable gun control laws, I’m sure today’s liberals would agree 100%. Then Hitler comes along, and uses the list to first disarm, and then ghetto-ize or “deport” and finally gas the Jews and others, killing millions.

Genocide, using the “common sense” gun registration lists to locate their most dangerous enemies. But first, they just come to pick up the weapons. “No trouble, foks!” They come for the mass arrests later, when the people are disarmed.

Millions of Polish Jews were rounded up this way, when the German police only needed a 1-10 ratio to thier victims. 100 German military police, 4-fs in their forties, bottom of the barrel conscripts, would round up and murder a town of a thousand. Force them to gather, then march groups at gunpoint into the woods for execution. A 1-10 ratio means the killer police are not worried at all. The victims were all disarmed. If they were armed, every village would requre a major military effort.

I’m sorry, I do NOT trust that our .gov won’t turn as mean as the old USSR to its “class enemies,” the MSM’s duly appointed scapegoats, us white racist tea-party terrorists, the bitter clingers.

Folks, they perceive that we are reactionary forces not only standing in the way of social progress and liberal utopia, we are actively blocking it. That makes us pure Evil, since their plan for utopia is pure Good. That means they will come to feel totally justified in seeking a “final solution to the bitter clinger question.”

And once their mortal enemies (that’s us) are disarmed and helpless…the temptation grows to simply do away with them. Bill Ayers thought they would need to murder 10% of the population to achieve their utopia.

As it was with the Turkish Armenians, German Jews, Russian Kulaks, Chinese, Ugandans, Guatemalens, Cambodians, Cubans, Rwandans, and on and on, history’s lesson is clear:

If a firearm was legal in 2012, under the 2nd Amendment it’s still legal in 2013 and it will be legal forever, no matter what so-called “executive orders” are handed down or new “laws” are passed by a panicking Congress. Those who say otherwise are liars and traitors and oath breakers and domestic enemies.

Every survivor of every genocide says the same thing: when they come to take your guns, shoot them! Make them take them, and their system of repression will be overwhelmed, because they don’t have millions of jack-booted thugs ready to do armed battles all over the country.

History is clear, with numerous examples, of the danger of gun registration and gun control. The German gun registration laws were enacted duuring the 1920s Weimar Republic, years before Hitler came to power. German gun registration was mandated in the name of “public safety.” Note that phrase well. I’m sure today’s liberal utopians would agree that they were “common sense” and “reasonable” gun control laws. Don’t we all want “public safety?”

Then years later Hitler rose to power, and used the gun registration lists to first disarm the Jews, and then to force them into starving, overcrowded ghettos, and finally into mass graves and gas chambers. The Nazi genocide of the Jews was enabled by those “common sense” German gun registration lists.

Millions of Polish Jews were rounded up by German military police battallions. The German military police only needed a 1-10 ratio to their victims. A mere 100 German military police, (4-Fs in their forties, bottom of the barrel conscripts, not rabid SS), would round up and murder a town of a thousand Jews over the course of one day.

The Germans would force them to sit tightly packed together on town plazas or sporting fields under the watch of only a handful of armed guards. The Germans would then march groups of twenty or thirty at a time at gunpoint into the woods for point-blank executions. A 1-10 ratio means the military police were not worried at all about meeting resistance. The victims were all previously disarmed.

During the Armenian Genocide from 1915-23, two million Christian Turks were exterminated by being marched at gun point into burning deserts with no food or water. The Turkish gun registration laws were enacted in 1911, in the name of “public safety.” The genocide began a few years later, after the Armenians’ firearms were confiscated.

The Obama regime already perceives that we “Bitter Clingers” are “reactionaries” who are not only standing in the way of social progress, we are actively blocking it.

That makes us pure Evil, since their plan for a socialist utopia is pure Good. And that means they will ultimately come to feel totally justified in seeking a “final solution to the Bitter Clinger problem,” in the same way that the Turks, Soviets and Nazis did. Can anyone guarantee Americans that tyranny will never visit our shores?

If the socialists in power are scapegoating us as national villains now, what will they do when they have no reason to fear us whatsoever? Did the Turks, Soviets or Nazis treat their despised minorities better, or worse, after disarming them? Think!

And once a despot’s enemies (that’s us) are disarmed and helpless...the temptation grows to simply do away with them. Obama mentor and ghost-autobiographer, the Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers, stated that they would need to murder ten percent of the American population to achieve their socialist nirvana. Thirty million bitter clingers. Guess who that is?

Don’t relearn this bitter lesson the hard way. Learn from history’s many examples. As it was for the Turkish Armenians, German Jews, Russian Kulaks, Chinese, Ugandans, Guatemalens, Cambodians, Cubans, Rwandans, and on and on, history’s lesson is crystal clear:

Instead of emotionally, let’s approach this from from a position of realism and practicality.

First of all, who are “they?”

“They”, under current circumstances, would be federal law enforcement officers (LEOs) and non-LEO bureaucrats who have recently been authorized to be armed and carry out SWAT operations against those that violate their agencies regulations, as well as military personnel. And importantly, private corporations working as government contractors, but with the force of law behind them.

The reliability of all of “them” is questionable, and it would profit us all to find out exactly *how* reliable they are, and how many would refuse to carry out a “legal”, but unconstitutional, gun confiscation. At the federal level, and assuming cooperation from some state and local authorities as well.

The second question, and an important one, is “How?”

Not the only example of a national police-state scheme, but the best one in US history, is that of the authoritarian New Deal agency, the the Agricultural Adjustment Administration. It only lasted 3 years before being declared unconstitutional, but in that time terrorized and impoverished tens of thousands of farm families.

“The AAA attempted to boost the wholesale price of agricultural produce through an artificial scarcity initiative, whereby crops were plowed up or left to rot, and six million pigs were killed and discarded.”

Because of the public outcry, the government then used the artificially created shortages to reward Democrat party allies, by giving them food to distribute and coal for fuel. This was done by a different organization, the Federal Surplus Relief Corporation, run by the same people who had run the AAA. For the Republicans, nothing.

Importantly, while this was, in effect, a government agency, it was not set up as a purely socialist government agency, as was done in Stalin’s Soviet Union, which had proved disastrous; but instead used the fascist economics model of a “public-private partnership” to achieve the same ends.

That is, in PPPs, the government typically directs a corporation to do some government scheme, but then lets the corporation actually execute the government’s plan. This allows the government to get the full impact of its scheme, without taking the responsibility for it.

Importantly, government partnerships are uniquely dangerous to gun owners, *precisely* because the corporation is directly paid via contract, with taxpayer money. So there are no market forces involved, and such corporations can be told *who* to hire.

The government can order them to hire convicted violent federal felons, on “work release” from prison, and it can issue work permits to foreigners (mercenaries), to work for these corporations as well.

Possibly. Theoretically. However, improbably, it is still good to imagine the possibilities, and how to counter them. Because, as Napoleon observed, a static defense is slow suicide.

So imagine what they might do, based on what they did before, and keep your eyes peeled for what they might try next.
