With President Obama readying an overhaul of the nation’s gun laws, a liberal think tank with singular influence throughout his administration is pushing for a sweeping agenda of strict new restrictions on and federal oversight of gun and ammunition sales.

This think tank was tasked with the issue of how to get the guns brought in without using human resources.
You won’t be able to renew your license, buy gas or even food or to cash a SS check unless you have been part of an intense scrutiny that any gun you may have had since you werre born isn’t still in your possession plus if any weapon is found on your property the Feds will confiscate everything you own, shoot your dog, re-educate your family and put you in a labor camp.
The think tank wants no human targets out there, no FBI traps set up, no reverse Wacos where just when the feds are watching a compound turn into a blazing inferno they are themselves wiped out by hidden snipers.

Note that not a single recommendation is focused on protecting our precious children. Not a word. This is about abridging the right of citizens to own and use firearms. Period. To do this, they are using emotional appeals and innocent little code words like reasonable and sensible to get the American people to support their agenda.
Their agenda is very simple and it is stated in this article: to keep weapons and ammunition out of the wrong hands. They would have the American people believe that the wrong hands are nasty criminals and wackos who would slaughter children, no threat to the average law abiding American. Nothing could be further from the truth. The wrong hands in their mind are anyone not in the government and they are willing to achieve their goal incrementally and slowly. This is not a strategy designed to protect children, it is a strategy to increase their power and to reduce the power and rights of the public.

Right, because those thousands of laws that are there now are working out so well, more need to be added. THEN those criminals will certainly pay attention! /s
As soon as DAs begin charging and convicting guns of murder, I will support gun control laws.
But, oddly, PEOPLE are still convicted of these crimes, NOT guns!!! So, why are the nanny-staters focusing on the guns and NOT the people pulling the trigger??

The CAP is just another branch of the Democratic Party. I’m sure the Administration will be really excited about their proposals, since they all think alike and have the same agenda.
