The recommendations, at the request of President Barack Obama, are a response to the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that claimed the life of 20 first-graders and sixeducators.
According to a report by the Huffington Post, Biden's proposals are likely to address the availability and access to certain types of guns and ammunition and tackle the issue of data collection and background checks.

Rush the process of a panel on gun control? The political/ social progressive think thanks have had these a-la-carte ideas in their diatribes and playbooks long before this last month of deliberation by the Vice-president. Its time to pick new restrictions from column “A” and column “B” or in this case “screw it, just get one of everything”.
The pro-gun groups were brought to the table by the Executive Branch because to be inclusive they had to have “crazy Uncle Freddy” show up before they carve up the turkey.
I don’t give two hoots in Hell what that idiot says or does. I REFUSE to obey anything that infringes on my God-given rights to keep and bear arms.
However, I went out on the lake yesterday and wouldn’t you know, all my guns fell overboard.
The hysterical rush to ban weapons is quickly ebbing. They must take advantage of the latest crisis.
It also appears they were unable to strong-arm the NRA and other opposing groups into an endorsement of their actions.
We will see a very extreme recommendation to congress. The house will reject it. The executive order will quickly follow.
I fear we won’t have time to pop the corn and watch this kabuki theater unfold.

The actions of the president were well planned long before sandy hook.
With this group, the ends always justify the means.
So what’s in store? A government certification of “sanity” before purchase ot firearms or ammo?

If that’s true, then all pro-gun people must boycott Walmart. Let them feel the pain for selling out their customers’ basic rights.
No, they don’t have to sell any particular product - they are a private business. But neither do we have to shop at any particular store.
Walmart supported obamacare, helped write DOT policy, violates international trade law, promoted the increase in minimum wage, promotes homosexual lifestyles, supports global warming fiction, forces their suppliers to make junk, and now is culpable in the restriction of second amendment rights.
I’m betting that Walmart was given a heads up on registration to buy ammo, and since they don’t want get into the “background check” business, they’re opting not to stock ammo.
Since smaller sporting outlets will pick up supply, due to product availability, the primary impact will be to price.
