Obama Blames Media ‘Preferred By Republican Constituencies’ For Unfriendliness In D.C.

During a Monday press conference in the White House, President Barack Obama was asked about his seeming lack of interest in socialization with other members of the political establishment in Washington. Obama said that, while he is a friendly person, it takes two to socialize and Republicans are generally not interested in being seen with him. He blamed “media that is preferred by Republican constituencies” for creating an environment in which a Republican politician seen with Obama has to fear a primary fight in their next election.

President Obama said he does socialize with members of Congress from the other party on a regular basis and they have a good time when they do interact on a casual basis.

“That doesn’t prevent them from going onto the floor of the House and, you know, blasting me for being a big spending socialist,” Obama said to laughs from the assembled reporters.

“The reason that, in many cases, Congress votes the way they do, or talks the way they talk, or takes the positions in negotiations that they take doesn’t have to do with me, it has to do with imperatives they feel in terms of their own politics,” Obama continued. “They’re worried about their district. They’re worried about what’s going on back home.”

Maybe the Republicans just don’t want to get the stench of socialism on themselves?

If you’re going after the 2nd Amendment, you might as well attack the 1st too.

How many times in the last four years has a Republican been invited to the White House, either for a meeting or a dinner, and rejected the invitation?

My guess is none. If not, very close to none.

But Obama can count on the media not pointing out inconvenient facts.

Never happen. The average citizen does not have the intelligence to to get in out of the rain. The media will continue to tell them obama is their lord and savior and all the problems are the Republican’s fault. And if the Republicans would only stop hindering obama, he would straighten out the Country’s problems fourthright. Your “average citizen” , a/k/a , parasite, traitor, and other terms too vile to print are who put obama in office and who will keep him in office for the foreseeable future.

Perhaps, but look at what happened to Mussolini. Initially adored by the people and press, much more so than Obastard. Eventually the people realized he was a blustering buffoon and took care of him. Lets hope history repeats itself.

The only place I have heard the negative comments that lead me to believe that Obama has contempt for this country is from Obama himself. He was the one who told Hispanic voters to go to to polls to punish. He was the one who told voters in Springfield, Ohio to get Revenge at the polls.
I do not listen to Limbaugh, fox news, etc. I hear these thing with my own ears and do not rely upon anyone else to tell me how to interpret what Obama himself has said. (”You did not build that!) It’s like I’m forever linked to a habitual liar, like Tommy Flanigan.
