Obama: No haggling on debt ceiling, can use executive action to tighten gun laws

President Obama on Monday warned congressional Republicans again that he will not negotiate over the debt ceiling, saying Washington must increase the limit to pay its bills and that such brinksmanship would be “absurd” and “irresponsible.”

“The issue here is whether Washington will pay its bills,” Obama said in the final press conference of his first term. “We are not a deadbeat nation.”

The president’s comments opened the roughly 30-minute White House question-and-answer session with reporters that focused largely on the debt ceiling and Obama’s gun-control plans in the aftermath of last month’s mass shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn., in which 26 were killed.

Obama, who vowed following the Dec. 14 massacre to curb gun violence, repeated his promise.

“If there is a step we can take that will save even one child from what happened in Newtown, we should take that step,” said the president, who is expected to get strong opposition from gun rights groups should he submit legislation to Congress, as expected.

So I think I see obama's tactics. Other than his clearly obvious steps to destroy America. Is the way he's doing it. This evil person started drooling over the horrible Sandy Hook shooting tragedy. Why do I say this? Because he was already stressing seeing what appeared to be no one budging on the first part of the fiscal cliff. It appeared he would have to fall on his own sword. He realized he could propagate gun control knowing it would set off a "Powder Keg" of action. While he stirred this up he realized he could use/attempt to use it to get what he wants on gun control and the second part of the fiscal cliff. He wanted this distraction so bad and to stoke the flames hot. He figured he could put it to America so bad two ways at once. He didn't even wait. This is why he started saying I will threaten executive power, and try to scare them into rage so hard to make them pass what he wanted on the fiscal cliff. This way his blind, mindless, following drones will stir up so much distraction. Obama could act like he's making some compromising on some gun control measures when he knew never could legally. And then get what he wants on second part of the fiscal. Kind of like the Wizard of Oz and Ponzi scheme combined. "Don't look over there! Pay no attention to that curtain!" Hey look over here, I this great idea to help America. (Slight of hand, shift, change here) When the whole time he's plan is simple. He's a miserable narcissist bully, (insert other descriptions here) who wants to destroy America. Stop flinching, do not back down, and stand up to him you GOP cronies! Get a pair of balls. Your letting a bully push you around. We know what bullies are really made of and how to address them.

If you mean blacks are the majority, they’re not and never will be, and neither Asians nor Hispanics are going to take their side. But what they have somehow done through the Democratic Party - or rather, the Dems have done it by using blacks as their battle standard - is to completely lock down and divert the political process.
