This smacks as a bit of over reaction to me. The media (?) or a couple of (liberal?) college kids having fun? Millions of kids (and adults) play video games. Millions of people own guns. A few nuts kill people. I think the problem is a combination of sick brains and truly evil people.

Don't get me wrong, I am not advocating games where leaders are used as targets. I just think there is an easier answer to the Newtown tragedy: evil exists in the world. Everything else is just a reach for control over a situation which we likely have none. My 2-cents.
