A school district in Wisconsin said they will review a high school diversity class that exposed students to radical leftist thinkers and promoted a critical race theory that alleges white people are oppressors.
The “American Diversity” class was taught to students at Delavan-Darien High School in Wisconsin, Fox News has learned.
“They’re teaching white guilt,” one parent told Fox News. “They’re dividing the students. They’re saying to non-whites, ‘You have been oppressed and you’re still being oppressed.’”
The parent, who asked not to be identified, has an 18-year-old son who was enrolled in the class and became alarmed after she looked at some of the handouts provided to the students.
“I felt it was indoctrination,” she said. “This is a radical left agenda and ideology that is now embedded in our school.”
The parent said the students were taught “if you’re white, you’re oppressing. If you’re non white, you’ve been a victim.”
According to handouts obtained by Fox News, “white privilege” was defined as “a set of advantages that are believed to be enjoyed by white people beyond those commonly experienced by non-white people in the same social, political, and economic spaces (nation, community, workplace, income, etc.”
Students were also given a handout from University of Texas professor Robert Jensen arguing that people don’t have complete control over their fate.
“There is not space here to list all the ways in which white privilege plays out in our lives, but it is clear that I will carry this privilege with me until the day white supremacy is erased from society,” he wrote.
Students were also instructed to visit the toy aisle at Wal-Mart for a hands-on illustration of white privilege.

It’s been true for a long while. I went to graduate school at UT in the early ‘60s , where I stayed at Simkins Hall, now “reflagged” because Simkins was somehow associated with the racism of the early 20th Century. Never mind that Simkins did a lot of good stuff. IAC, was surprised how liberal the history and government school faculties were, and of course the students. Of course, in those days, “liberal” still meant liberal-minded. The professors were open to discussion.

This is called, “social justice”. Almost every college and university now requires a course in social justice for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. It is just as it is described, a course in White guilt.

Why in the hell are they teaching such a course in high school. No wonder our high school grads are so far behind the rest of the industrial countries in math and science. This course is a total waste of a high school student’s time. An A in this course and $8 will get you a $4 cup of whatever at Starbucks. My kid would not have spent but one day in this class. As soon as I saw his/her schedule there would have been a transfer to a class that would provide useful learning.

The teacher and half the class thought I was joking. A few students understood my point. They politely warned me not to rock the boat lest it affect my choice of college. This was at Collegiate, arguably the oldest school in America. It has just taken time for the anti-white bias to come out in public. Nowe that we have a non-white President and have been told that the white vote doesn’t matter, they can institutionalize hatred of whites.

That's how they operate. I took a "C" for my research paper on nuclear power in 1979, while my friend, who did his research paper on solar power (in one day), got an "A." We both knew what we were doing. Looking back, I'm glad that I did it.
My homeschooled daughter will be attending our local state college next year. I told her to take an "F," if necessary. She's going to have fun in class.

Our beloved pets have low intelligence and poor impulse control. The difference in their standing: pets don't have opposable thumbs. Thumbs are like guns. They lead to trouble.
As automation continues to expand, more and more people are effectively being turned into human pets. We have to do something about those dang thumbs. We need thumb control! No one but government officers need 27 bones loaded in each hand.
Africa has one petty dictator after another - unending civil wars - minimum freedom... Come on folks - it's not us. It's not our culture... it's them - it's their culture. They've got a problem - and it's not that we don't give them enough. It's not that we 'oppress' them. Their systems create what you see. Their ideas create their neighborhoods, schools, and crime problems.
It's not us...
Black communities, cities, and countries tend to be violent, poor, dependent and corrupt. From Detroit to Uganda... from Philly to South Africa it's the same. If Americans were able to have an honest discussion of culture and race these things could be looked at... but that's not going to happen as long as liberal elites use black resentment to maintain their power.
If a free discussion were allowed, blacks might decided their problems are worth the trade off. They might decided they prefer violent neighborhoods to having to live a more ‘uptight’ lifestyle. That's fine. Or they could decide imposing rules on themselves for the sake of a more livable community might be worth it. Fine.
What's NOT fine is for blacks to make choices that create their social environment then try to blame others. That's what we have - and it's NOT OK.
LOL, I was going to comment to the alarmed parent, don’t send your kid to college.
