Police say they've had enough of fights in and outside Benton Harbor High School. There were several fights again in school Monday. A 14-year-old student was arrested for bringing a knife in and making threats.
This comes just days after police say they dealt with the largest brawl they'd ever seen. More than 200 kids were involved.

I know where Benton Harbor is. Holder’s people.
“Large pack of feral youths seen roaming near MLK blvd.”
“Film at eleven.”
They’re just “tuning-up” for when the EBT cards flash ZERO, and the rampage begins. SHTF.
Benton Harbor is a mess. Runaway crime, and a city government that has been every bit as mismanaged and corrupt as Detroit. Now this. Bleah!
1. If Obama had a son would he look like him?
2. Was this an assault knife?
Thanks for the info. I didn’t think I had had to guess it was the amish! It was a given conclusion. Lets see some folks got dissed and a spontaneous riot broke out! Typical reaction among the amish concentration. Stay far away from them.
which state is this ???
At the rate we’re going, in a couple of years a government program to help disaffected inner city youth will have them all in spiffy new uniforms to build character by beating people for petty infractions against the state with truncheons.
That place was Harlem North back in the mid 80s.
Made the mistake of crossing the river from St. Joe and might just have well flown in to Lebenon. Nothing but boarded up shops and roving unkempt “residents”
Benton Harbor=Chicken Man
A river seperates St. Joe from Benton Harbor. It is a clear picture of the 47% vs. the 53%ers.
I watched the video thinking someone might actually report why the kids were fighting.....crickets....
Gang related ?
Race related ?
I interesting the police chief was going to start charging and fining the parents unless their kids started to behave....
Now that there is funny. Hope the Chief’s dept. Accepts EBT cards. Either that or he’ll have to confiscate skittles, Ice tea and Colt 45 Malt Liquor.
So when do the people in the Administration do something about this? Or wouldn’t that be “fair”?
Obama’s people. And there is no need for high capacity magazines?
He’s everywhere! He’s everywhere!
And I think it was “Benton Harper.” But it was long ago.
We always knew Benton Harbor had it in her, but it still makes me sad. Heathkit was there.
They had a couple days of rioting a few years back when some clown on a cycle ran from police and splatted on a brick wall.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
It’s known as “Benton Harlem” for a reason.
In order to get a direct non-stop flight at a reasonable rate, one of my sons had to drive my very sick son to Newark NJ from Long Island today. I saw the folks who got off the flight with him. Kinda scary. Is this a similar place?
Imagine Newark in a rural setting. That’s Benton Harbor.
One of the students brought a knife? Probably for Home Ec class.
They’re trying to “discrepency” in the punishment rates between white and black students now, by punishing white kids for minor infractions because they don’t commit major infractions at the rate black students do. So they’d have to find a large group of white kids who chewed gum in class or something and give them the same punishment before they could do anything to the large groups of black kids fighting, rioting, “flash” mobbing, etc.
That should have been “close the discrepency”.
The government really needs to outlaw brawls.
Thanks Bon of Babble.
Whatever happened to Heathkits?.....
This is why we keep cases of 00 buck.
Don’t know, interviewed there back in mid 80s. But I think a whirlpool plant that was there either shut down or relocated to the SW side of Chicago 6-10 years ago
Only thing I know about Benton Harbor is that it’s where all those Heathkits I used to build came from - haven’t seen them advertised in years - surprised they may have lasted as long as the ‘80’s - guess they’re gone now, like the rest of my youth.....
Nearly every concentrated Democrat parasite nest ("city") has an "MLK Blvd".
It is always a good idea to roll up your windows and keep clicking your doorlocks if you see such a street sign.
Benton Harlem, MI
Barack Obama - 4364 - 97.83%
John McCain - 94 - 2.10%
I was in St. Joe recently at a children’s museum (Curious Kids Museum), with my kids. There was a group of organ-tangs.. I mean day care workers, with a group of about 40 Benton Harlem children. The Day Cary workers encouraged the children to act a fool and make tons of noise and be disruptive, in this tiny little children’s play area, so quietly I left the area.
THEN the workers saw me at the exit area about half an hour later- and were laughing out loud and among themselves about having run me and my kids out of the area..
So I respond with something like, “grow up, and stop annoying people”.. and these women were so stirred up, that I would dare respond to them, that I thought they were going to start a riot.
They were about as educated as a turnip, and as agitated as a group of monkeys at the zoo- and looking for a fight with White-y. They were crass and rude and totally obnoxious, and this was in front of the children they were watching.
Filthy dirty people.
Heathkit's and Cathy's passionate romance was doomed....and by the end of the movie, both were unfortunately deader than doornails.
Heathkit’s and Cathy’s passionate romance took place in Benton Harbor - who knew?.....
