One thing conservatives don’t do is attack the Liberals when they say things that are true. If they can’t use the regular media go to Fox News but get on TV.

Obama signs law outlawing abortion to "save the children" (Oh wait, that didn't really happen)

I have only one problem with this...the cheapening of the term “felony”.

See, my dad had a particular way of disposing of used motor oil that he practiced from his youth on a farm in the 1940s to my own childhood in the 70’s. If you do what he did, you're a felon.

There are many “felonies” today that were not crimes at all just a few years ago. It is likely that the list of felonies grew just at the past new year.

If you want to get specific about only certain felonies— those involving violence or the credible threat of violence, for instance—

—or—

If you want to roll back the definition of “felony” to encompass only those things—

—I'll be right there with you.

That is a baited question.. New gun laws aren’t made for the purpose of “cracking down on gun violence”. We ALL support “cracking down on gun violence” but gun bans won’t accomplish that.. DISCIPLINE OF CHILDREN AT A YOUNG AGE AND THE TEACHING OF ETHICS, MORALS AND CHRISTIAN VALUES WILL ACCOMPLISH THAT! Children today ARE THEIR OWN BOSS and this phenomenon must STOP. CHILDREN ARE NOT ADULTS BUT THEY’RE ALLOWED TO THINK THEY ARE AND THAT MINDSET MUST STOP.. PRONTO!!!

It depends on the laws

.. shall not be infringed  contains no 'depends'.

I could have been more obvious about my cynicism I suppose.

To be clear, I believe our federal government continues to make regulations to legislation that makes abiding by the law confusing at best and impossible at worst. They are making us all criminals subject to judicial enforcement in the future. Today, they are not even doing it through legislation. Today our president can use executive orders and his cabinet members can “write up the details and regulations” for laws that passed legislation. Nothing at the Supreme Court can be trusted.

So my fantasifical epilogue was to highlight how the liberal agenda continues to advance, impeding and infringing on our inalienable rights.

The one thing Liberals do is to take something that is true, and warp it into a completely different issue.

Conservatives tend to respond to the "new issue" and are seen as lunatics.

It's a failure to recognize the presupposition of the argument.

I share the opinion of others regarding what an "assault" weapon is. To me, the only people who have "assault" weapons are the Military and the police. The Military takes their weapons from point A to point B and aims them at people to kill them. The police will take their weapons from point A to point B, and if necessary will point it at someone, and if necessary, will pull the trigger.

I do not possess such a weapon. My weapon is not for me to take to another location and point it at someone. My weapon is for me to use at home, for "defense," not "assault." Thus, my weapon is a "defense" weapon, not an "assault" weapon.

The people pushing these laws don’t give a damn about saving lives. They are using people, especially children as tools to help them gain more power and control over the people. The laws they want to pass will only restrict the rights of law abiding people. The criminals will continue to ignore the laws like they always do. We will end up imprisoning ourselves with laws that make us safe if we’re not careful.
