On a dance floor in Williston, N.D., where single men say there are not enough single women.
WILLISTON, N.D. — Christina Knapp and a friend were drinking shots at a bar in a nearby town several weeks ago when a table of about five men called them over and made an offer.
They would pay the women $3,000 to strip naked and serve them beer at their house while they watched mixed martial arts fights on television. Ms. Knapp, 22, declined, but the men kept raising the offer, reaching $7,000.
“I said I make more money doing my job than degrading myself to do that,” said Ms. Knapp, a tattoo artist with dark streaks in her light brown hair, a bird tattoo on her chest and piercings above her lip and left cheekbone.

Those boys have a real problem if thats the best they can do out there.
Maybe they need to fly to Nevada once in a while and work that off.
That’s one of the problems with modern day boom towns.
In the old days of the Gold Rush the whores followed the Boom. Today with prostitution illegal everywhere except Nevada only the rich can afford an “escort”.

Whoever wrote this article should have been in Saudi in the 60’s when gold was $40/ounce (avoirdupois, that is).
We wore Krugerrands, welded together, as hatbands on our Stetsons and a 22-carat Day-Date, Rolex Watch was $350.
Of course, there were no women anywhere in that part of the world, temperatures were 110 degrees F and one could get rich overnight if one didn’t blow his money overnight.

Not love; kids. Here on the east coast the shop is closed for most guys in terms of kids. One night stands are done cold sober; our guys are learning.

A generation ago girls from the Dakotas and Minnesota lit out for NYC for a better life.
