Gun Appreciation Day - March on Denver Capitol
Gun and Game ^ | January 10, 2013 | pcman312

As many of you know, the first Gun Appreciation Day has been set for January 19th. The organizers want you to go out to your local gun range, gun store, gun show and show support for gun rights around the country. I think that this should be taken a step further and we should make it a march on each state capitol in the US.

To that end, to all people in the state of Colorado, I hereby invite you to join me at the gun rights march at the Denver Capitol Building on January 19th at 11AM.

I have created a public facebook invite for all those who wish to attend: https://www.facebook.com/events/444977625568975/

If you are a facebook member, please join the event and invite as many people as you can to the event. I will post some general guidelines for how I believe we should dress and act during the event.

Keep in mind, in the Denver city limits, it is illegal to open carry a firearm. To that end, I highly recommend against open carrying any firearms at this march. We cannot give fodder to the propaganda machine that we are facing.

TOPICS: Activism/Chapters; Government; Politics/Elections; US: Colorado
KEYWORDS: appreciation; banglist; colorado; denver; guncontrol; guns; secondamendment
This is not my event and not my website but I will be attending on Saturday.

I was there. It was a better turnout than I expected, given the lack of interest I saw on FR.

I'd guess about 500 or so people, but I didn't have a good vantage point and I didn't actually make an effort at counting.

I, for one, appreciate your going.
I could not. Had to work today.
However, my Wife went to her CCW class today, and passed with flying colors.
