Indeed. No better way to get a nuke to Israel than to put it in a mini-sub, transport it on a ship, and then run it onto the beach at Tel Aviv.

Maybe with a little subtle assistance from the US Office of Naval Research, the Israelis could make some of the Iranian ships or boats just vanish. The deepest part of the Med is 5,267m, or about 3.27 miles. And nobody is going that deep to recover anything lost there.
