Karl Rove enlivened Fox News Channel's election coverage last year by questioning the network's declaration that Barack Obama had been re-elected. It hasn't affected Fox's desire to keep him on the air.

The network announced Thursday that it had signed Rove to a new contract as a contributor. The deal runs through the 2016 election.

This news tells me neither Rove nor FOX learned a damn thing from the last election coverage.

Either that of they both got the results that they wanted from it and would like a repeat for 2016.

Because some people still believe that Fox and the GOP are still ‘conservative’. But the actions of both over the last 2 years clearly show they are closer to the left than to us.

Until the people considering themselves conservative face the proven reality that they are not, we will go nowhere but down into obscurity. Hiring Jim would be the opposite of their demonstrated direction. And they are going in that direction because they are opposed to what he/we believe.

FOX must be on a suicide mission. Rove has zero credibility. When he comes on the tube I change it as fast as when the Kenyan pops up to stink up my screen.

Agree. He joined the Rasmussen credibility school for me.

As much of a jackas— as Beckel is he called the election very accurately.

He is probably more connected than these alleged gurus...

Actually Rove got it right. He was teamed with a eurocrat, Trippe? and they presented a map showing state polls that consistently predicted the outcome.

He was spot on in Delaware predicting the defeat of the Senate candidate. Freepers were mightily pissed, but Rove was correct in his prediction.

Rove is the most overrated consultant of them all.

Why? And why would anyone outside of Mr. Rove’s immediate family and friends care about what he says about anything? I fail to see how he has a following.

I don’t have a problem with the token liberals on FNC. It’s hard to generate sparks if everyone is simply echoing agreement.

It is the GOPe RINO faux conservatives that get me—and make Fox now a network to root against, which is sad considering the other alternatives we have.

Time for some real competition—Fox itself is the Juan Williams of our nation’s news networks.

Every time Karl Rove shows up on FOX I switch channels. I do the same for Juan Williams, and Allen Colmes. If everyone did this maybe FOX would get the point.
