TRENTON, N.J. — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is labeling “reprehensible” the National Rifle Association ad that brought President Barack Obama’s daughters into the gun-control debate.

The NRA ad accused the president of being a hypocrite for allowing his daughters to be protected by armed Secret Service agents but not embracing armed guards for schools.

The Republican governor and father of four said at a briefing...

This guy is bad news. Get a load of this from the article:

"Christie again refused to take a position on Obama’s call for a federal assault weapons ban. The governor says he has no influence over what Congress and the president decide."

No influence on Congress unless it consists of bloviating like a mad dog that Congress better pass his Hurricane Sandy bill. Unfortunately, based on Congress' actions after his speaking rampage, it looks like the GOP will bend over to the will of Christie. To top it all off, I'm sure he'll calm down just enough to get the GOP nomination in 2016.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is labeling “reprehensible”"effective" the National Rifle Association ad that brought President Barack Obama’s daughters into the gun-control debate.

There fixed it. Looks like the NRA struck a nerve!

I thought Barack the Kenyan bringing out OTHER PEOPLE’S DAUGHTERS to trample the Bill of Rights on TV yesterday was pretty “reprehensible” too.

Obama’s hyporacy is very reprehensible. His children’s guards have full auto big clip machine guns. My kids are defenseless. That’s not fair at all.

Coming from a born/bred Jerseyan, Christy is as much of a blowhard as any governor we’ve had during my lifetime and is unfortunately, the best we can do here. At least he goes out of his way to piss off the unions. Other than that, he might as well be a dumbocrat.

Wow, Christie is almost as good at projection as Obama. The jerk characterized the NRA add as “attacking” Obama’s daughters. In no way did they “attack” the daughters. They simply pointed out Obama’s hypocrisy.

@benshapiro: I am unaware of any American administration that has used children as tools like this. Despicable. http://hotair.com/archives/2013/01/17/its-come-to-this-white-house-releases-videos-of-young-kids-asking-obama-for-more-gun-control/

Obama is nothing but a Communist propagandist that hides behind his and other people’s children. He trots out his daughters and other people’s children for his political gain but bitches like a little school girl if anyone else uses them in comparison.

I am so sick of this discussion. I agree, the children of presidents have to be protected, because their safety can pose a risk to national security.

But, my children deserve no less protection. That is the argument, and those who say otherwise accept classes of people being treated differently solely on their position in the political structure, what we fought to escape.

I can't believe I ever liked this blowhard.

His no nonsense Joisey style was refreshing for a while. But ever since Sandy, his true colors have come out...or perhaps the body snatchers have struck again (they have been busy since 2008).
