In press conferences that have been held since 12/14, the Connecticut State Police have identified all of the weapons seized from the crime scene at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

"To eliminate any confusion or misinformation, we will again describe and identify the weapons seized at the school crime scene," Connecticut State Police Spokesman Lt J. Paul Vance said Friday, January 18, via a press release.

Seized inside the school were the following: a Bushmaster .223 caliber-- model XM15-E2S rifle with high capacity 30 round clips; a Glock 10 mm handgun; and a Sig-Sauer P226 9mm handgun.

Seized from the suspect’s car in parking lot was a Izhmash Canta-12 12 gauge Shotgun.

The case remains under investigation.

You can pick up 15 rounders. Midway sells them. I suspect they are out there for some state hunting guidelines. Dunno, but it is not a standard carry.

It’s an amazing firearm and platform. And it’s experiencing a renaissance as glock started making the SF versions that could be held by normal sized hands and shooters have caught on to the fact that it’s between a .357mag and a .41mag in energy with 10-15 rounds with felt recoil comparable to the .40S&W because of the heavier slides. From what I’ve heard, glock is shipping a lot of the g29SF and g20SF platforms.

That’t the thing though, discovering what was in the trunk happened first thing that morning. Even Vance talked about it in his mid day presser.

And they always immediately look for cars and search them for potential bombs.

I'm guessing that she did have a gun vault because otherwise they would have jumped on it.

Put a gun to her head, I'm sure she'd tell him the combo.

We don't even know when she was shot, do we?? All we know is that she was shot in the face.

I think they're lying about a lot of things.

And I'm furious that Gabby came to Town and that the facts about Loughner's agenda were kept quiet.

And Damn it....Please explain to folks that the Bushmaster 223 is not a friggin' machine gun....it's a one pull = one shot, very ordinary long gun.

One would think the Fed would not release unverified information.

Are you referring to the same Feds who released all that unverified information on Fast and Furious and Benghazzi ???.

Actually, his tone and dogged persistence are telling. Take a look at the number of posts on the topic from this guy. It’s not quite normal.

“”According to a reliable local law enforcement source, Adam Lanza attempted to destroy all his computer equipment to prevent any tracing of his Internet usage and his electronic correspondence. It is thought that “some or most” of the computer data will be retrieved from the damaged equipment.”

One little problem. The ‘tracks’ of anyone’s INTERNET USAGE are not on your computer, they are on the ISP logs. Even his EMAILS are not stored on his computer, they are stored on some the servers of whatever email service you use.

PLUS... destroying a hard drive is a very difficult task. I wanted the magnets out of two hard drives, and it took a VICE, HAMMER, CHISEL, SCREWDRIVERS, and TWO DAYS to get them out.

Yea. Figures. Our state is 10 rd for hunting. I've actually seen 5 rounders. 20 and 30 are more standard tho. Course you can modify 20 or 30 rounders to just hold 15 or however many you want. I actually like my straight 20’s the best. Don't get in the way like the 30’s can.

That dude in Aurora supposedly had 100 rd mag. Those are very expensive and notoriously unreliable. Not to mention heavy fully loaded. His weapon jammed and some have blamed it on the AR. Most stoppages are caused by the magazine. In my experience.

a 10mm glock? they exist (Glock G20) but that is an odd weapon.

I own a G20 and a G29.

What I find interesting that Adam Lanza's MOTHER would have one. Not many women will buy and shoot a 10mm. Same with the shotgun.

Wonder if she got them from her ex?

There were weapons used in the investigation?

It's right there in black and white.

“I just don’t understand how you can blame this or any killing on a gun.”

You can’t blame it on the gun, and that’s why I think the whole attempt by some of these conspiracy theorists to deny the official line about the AR being the murder weapon is just plain silly. Whether it was the handguns, the AR, the shotgun, or a musket, our counterarguments against the liberals should be the same. Otherwise, if we don’t have the nerve to stop an “assault weapons” ban, just because someone used an AR-15 to kill some children, then they are going to be banned sooner or later. If it hadn’t happened this time, it would happen in a few years, and we would just get rolled over then instead of now.

Um, in the context of my post, yes, most would think the feds know the difference between a AR 15 and a shot gun.

As far as the BS on Benghazi, that came straight from the top, just a tad different then low level fibbies running around a shooting scene.

Memo to the fact checkers at the Bee: the rifle and pistols use MAGAZINES, not “clips”.

I don't own one, but have fired one. True that they are a fight stopper. Just a weird caliber for Mom to have had in her arsenal.

Back in the 1990s, 10mm were all the rage. A buddy of mine had a S&W chambered in 10mm. They seem to have fallen by the wayside in recent years back to more common calibers.

When i read “clip” instead of “magazine” i knew I was gonna get some real deets

I'm used to it by now. Just like reading "loose" for "lose" on FR.

What are your unanswered questions regarding Sandy Hook?

Most have been answered by the facts, testimonies, press conferences, tapes, etc.

But here are three that remain unanswered:

How can supposedly intelligent people fail to discern the facts from the same evidence available to me or anyone. ???

Do they think that this town of 28,000 much less the families of the 26 dead are going to let the police slip anything under the rug???

Why is it so hard to accept the fact that 26 people died by means of an Bushmaster .223 caliber-- model XM15-E2S rifle???
