Bullied former cheerleader Katie Uffens will next week return to the school where classmates tormented the 16-year-old and formed a 'Kill Kate Klub', named KKK.
The teenager dropped out of Westview High School in San Diego, California, last September, after the bullies threatened to kill her, harassed her family and taunted her online.
One of her classmates who was arrested for allegedly creating the KKK group, Nick Aguiree, was never charged.
Miss Uffens then accused the school's principal for covering it up and created an anti-bullying website 'You Matter', to help teens who have faced similar ordeals, while she was being home schooled.
But on January 23rd, Katie will be back in her former classroom and wants to return to her cheerleading team too.
'I'm scared. The staff didn't stand behind me. The group that called themselves the 'Kill Kate Klub' is still there. But I have the right to live my life, so I'm going back', she told ABC 10News.
'I don't care what people say about me anymore. I know there's rumors and lies and gossip. I deserve to have what I had to leave behind.'
'There's some point where I'm going to have to say, you know what? You're not going to get me down anymore', she added.
When Katie dropped out of school four months ago, she told KGTV: 'I didn't know if it was a joke or they were really trying to kill me.'
Her mother, Giselle Uffens, a former Mrs. California, asked the school administration for help and appealed to the San Diego police, who at first declined to press charges, citing lack of evidence.

Geez, I hate bullies.
She has the face of an angel. I wonder if she knew it and made people hate her. It’s easy to do when many are already jealous anyway.
What the HELL is wrong with kids today? In my day, this girl would be popular. She’s absolutely gorgeous, and I’d bet that her “bullies” are jealous twits more than anything else.
I wonder if this will be adapted to the movie, “Heathers 2”.
I was bullied back in the day when it was done quietly and sneakily. I was a girl from a country school who got out of her place; “taking” what the “upper crust” girls thought was their birthright. So - I was frozen out and ignored by those with the “power” to do so; and not allowed to do the job I was elected to do. - It sucked rocks; but all the surrounding crap forced me to grow up, forgive people (but not in such a way as to allow them to continue the snubs indefinitely). I am FREE of that silliness. - I guess also that they’ve finally discovered that they aren’t going to have lifetime jobs as cheerleaders or homecoming queens. - Looking back, I just think it’s such a waste when people are too small and petty to nurture and encourage each other’s successes.
I heard that Quentin Tarantino is going to adapt the screen play for the big screen.
Apparently the word, ‘slut’, is going to be used a lot.
I don’t know if that is the sort of thing Tarantino likes. Too much wit, smirking fun, and Afterschool special for him, who probably much prefers the Pinky Violence genre:

There is more to this story than we know.
What is the underlying cause for the bullying?
Is race involved?
It is becoming fairly common for school authorities and law enforcement to ignore or minimize black or brown discrimination against whites.
Don’t know if that is the case here but there is certainly some motivating factor that hasn’t been stated.
Why we need corporal punishment back in the schools. Paddle the tar out of the boys (and girls) responsible, suspend or expel them, shame them to the entire school. Then they become the object of scorn. Was a day when teachers, administrators, and parents worked together...now they are in a total CYA-I'll-sue-your-@$$ mode..sad, and disgusting.
Pretty girl:
So where’s Dad in all this? All I can say....as a father, including daughters, and very attractive daughters...that if this shit got started during their teen years I’d be on a tear. The principal would get reamed. The Sup would get reamed. The kid who started the “KKK” club....I’d go to his house and his dad and I would have a.........talk. I’d talk to the kid, too. They’d know the price of their shittiness and the price they were about to pay if it didn’t stop PRONTO. I’d demand apologies....publicly.
Men have become such p***ies today.....and yes, I’ve had to do similar things in my life with idiotic, drooling educrats in the past. I’m not talking through my hat here. If you don’t protect your own, what good are you as a father?
Her mom and dad and her two younger siblings in 2009. Mom is the former Mrs. California, 2009.
Giselle Uffens
Great looking family and all.....so ‘dad’, get off your ass and defend those pretty girls in your family. Stand up, grow a set, get pissed, and make ‘em BACK OFF.
It can be done. Trust me. NO one....I mean no one....in this world wants to face an angry father.
“NO one....I mean no one....in this world wants to face an angry father.”
The bullies are high school students — what would you have him do? Why is it all the father’s responsibility?
Maybe as a dad you can teach them to cuss like that in public discussions, on a conservative forum.
i am not sure ‘having a talk’ is worth losing your gun rights over. how does that help the family?
if you want to get back, you get back stealthily. you don’t get arrested threatening someone on his own property.
This is a principle that can apply right across the board in many areas of life. Stealth is important!
True, and when kids talk murder these days you have to take them seriously. They may not mean it, but then again there is a good possibility that they do. An unarmed girl against a possible gang is no match.
His daughter’s life was threatened, and you ask this? Good God.
