Will they also carry magic wands to get rid of the overpenetration issues?

Collateral damage, here we come.. You don’t need to kill someone’s dog with a Bushmaster .223!

I think a lot, maybe most patrol cars have a high powered rifle usually in the trunk.

Back in the 80s I lived in Western Kansas. There was a gang going across the country robbing, murdering and just having a good time.

A Kansas highway patrolman caught up with them. They shot at him then took off on foot. He got out a high powered bolt action and shot one through the head at 200 yards.

They deiced they had, had enough fun and surrendered.

If I was a police officer and patrolled parts of Nashville or Memphis, I’d carry an AR 16, multiple magazines, and grenades and NVG if I could afford them. The least bit of anarchy will send the diverse population on a binge terrorizing everyone within reach. We are talking the blue areas of Davidson County and the majority of Shelby County.

The officers will be required to take three days of training at the Metro Police Training Academy.

If a person is qualified to deploy with a rifle after only three days, I'm overqualified. I received two weeks of excellent marksmanship training on Parris Island. And the government wants to take away MY firearms?

Wow. Three entire days of training. I’m sure all the union rules on lunches and breaks will be included. So that should add up to an entire 16 hours or so of “rigorous” training for the donut eaters..

>”We’re not going to be sitting outside a school in an active killer situation”<

I guess the Chief didn’t watch Fuhrer Obama’s pronouncement.

Obama introduced 23 Unconstitutional Mandates that guarantee that there will not be any “Active Killers” at a school or anywhere else for that matter.

Unicorns and Rainbows will fill the skies and rivers of chocolate will flow through the Heartland of America after the Bitter Clingers of yesteryear are permanently swept away by the tears of the Children they allowed to die.

The Dear Leader wouldn’t lie about such a thing, would he?
