Don’t forget Eastern, Braniff, and PanAm- All succumbed to the frequent filer program.

The tail looks like a piano keyboard. Yeah. It's a post-Constitution flag. The stars (states) have been flattened, like road kill.

Ugly as all get out. These marketing ‘geniuses’ seem to produce worse and worse dreck.

Yeah, when I’m hundreds of millions in debt, I change my logo.

I’d like it more if the blue was on the rudder and the red and white on the front of the tail

It’s like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. If AMR Corporation [AA parent], now in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, survives through 2013 it will be a miracle.

Very linear, non-circular jerkish...

The logo gets updated, but the POS planes in its fleet stay the same...
They have their priorities backward...

My dad was a pilot with Braniff. We still have difficulty flying on AA.
To: crusty old prospector
They had great paint jobs on their planes. But that was when they were regulated. My family is well entrenched in the industry. My wife & I worked for AA, my two sisters, now retired. My other sister will retire from SW and her husband is a SW Captain. My daughter works for JB as a res agent.
I can fly anywhere dirt cheap on all of those airlines. Did I mention I hate to fly now days. I bought a motor home. I’ll drive. I’m retired, go around me.

Oh, you’re that guy in front of me on the two-lane road going 55. Can’t you travel between midnight and 4:00AM? My dad was a captain throughout all three bankruptcies.
To: crusty old prospector
Hey hey, When I’m in the motor home I use the turn outs! lol When I’m on my Harley you get smaller in my mirrors!
