I’m very thin because of certain food allergies and I often think, if I got sick and couldn’t eat, I’d have a harder time fighting it off and my weight would dwindle to nothing in no time, whereas a fatter person would have fat stores and other things to keep them going and strong. I suppose I “look” better than a fat person (according to our current culture of skinny) but it can’t be healthier to be skinny. I hate the food police.

Will Fat Taxes Kill You?

I'm guessing that if the "fat taxes" don't, the sheer aggravation these people inflict will! Though maybe that's the plan . . . ;-)

“The study revealed that a six-foot tall “overweight” man weighing 220 pounds is actually about 6% less likely to die than a 180lb, six-foot tall “normal” weight man.”

One of the most poorly written, idiotic sentences ever. We are all going to die. Nitwit author. Perhaps someone who weighs 220 is less likely to die at age 70 than a 180-lb guy or has a lifespan that is 6% greater. That might make some sense.
