Monday’s inaug is no sellout....Some DEM party officials are skipping the whole thing. DC hotels and events are offering discounts, rebates, twofers. Benefactors Brunch is a $5,000 fire sale price. VIP access to the Inaugural Ball is listed as “an amazing deal.” General admission is $500. To squat in the Parade’s VIP section---$150.....in the everybody’s-a-peasant section, it’s possible the Oval Office is so desperate, they may pay you a few dollars to fill the embarrassing void.

COMMENTS Odd, isn't it? Obama "won" the popular vote and the electoral vote. But he can't seem to create enthusiasm among his "supporters and voters" for his inaugural festivities.

NOTE Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa and six other Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee should subpoena Dem leaders, and their documents, to determine what exactly they were doing on election day and the weeks before.

White House spokesman Jay Carney says Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will administer the oath of office on Sunday just before noon, the time required by the Constitution. Dems will be giving thanks that Romney was so stupid and easily duped.....a dumbo RINO who was used to having his lunch money taken by the schoolyard bully.
A breakfast of tacos and tequila will commence, then David Axelrod will do the Mexican Hat Dance on the Capitol steps attired in his serape and matching sombrero.

Well, many of his voters and supporters can’t afford to go.
Friend of mine, Obama supporter, went to the last inauguration, even served as a volunteer. This time, she can’t afford to go. Seems her most recent paycheck shrunk....unexpectedly. LOL
I am trying to find a way to back out of it, but I may be dragooned into taking the kids down to the mall for the swearing in. Mrs. Sphinx’s POV is that they’re the right age and that we should take them to witness the civic ritual. My POV is that this is one civic ritual I have no interest in witnessing. It’s a short walk, so it’s not a day killer either way.
But to get to the point: the only reason we have tickets is that a democrat congressional staff neighbor was handing them out. Which would only happen if they don’t have constituents to give them to. Even the dems seem to be just going through the motions.
I’m not as interested as where he spent the loot as much as where he received the loot.

Plus ---- Obama's having a brief private swearing-in w/ family only in the WH.
All of it is a huge red flag---not that the duped Romney RINOs would "get it."

The effort, called Organizing for Action, will be headed by former campaign manager Jim Messina, an organizing maestro, and is packed with former White House and campaign alums.Those who responded to Obama’s request to say, “I’m in,” were invited to contribute campaign cash and can also help steer the group.

The overlooked secret weapon of the 'rats was the "early voting" scam in key states. When the SoS in Ohio tried simply to regulate and standardize it, the 'rats went ballistic--it would have countered their secret weapon. They had fine grained lists of voters--they knew every voter in their precincts-- and had a plan to get every one to the polls.
Days of early voting and extended hours enabled the 'rat machine to herd their masses into busses and take load after load bodily to the polls.
This is how they got their 100% votes in black precincts. They wouldn't have had the resources to get them all to the polls on one day, so they had to have the long open season to make all the deliveries necessary.
The GOP had no such organization, or apparently, even the faintest idea of what the DNC had been doing the last four years.
Let's hope they learned their lesson, but frankly I'm not optimistic. The GOP seems more interested in running people off than in GOTV efforts.
