Through it all, we have never relinquished our skepticism of central authority, nor have we succumbed to the fiction that all society’s ills can be cured through government alone...
But we have always understood that when times change, so must we; that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges; that preserving our individual freedoms ultimately requires collective action.
The heart of it. Read between the lines. "Now is the time to relinquish our skepticism of central authority. The collective is more important than the individual. I know better than the framers of the Constitution what liberty is. And I will make sure that ALL of you get in line with my opinion."
As evidenced by his own administration's 'war on women' and his complete failure to keep his promises to LaRaza during his first term. If it's not completely obvious to voters that this man will say anything while having no earthly intention of following through, then I submit that those voters are of the deceased variety.

That may have knocked Clinton out of first place for all-time POTUS Whoppers (either “the age of big government is over” or “I did not have sexual relations with that woman”...they were neck-and-neck)

Hispanics voted 71% for him in 2012 and he received 55% of the women’s vote. We have reached a tipping point. No Rep will be elected President for a long, long time. The 2016 election is already a foregone conclusion. Hillary will be the first woman President in another “historic” election.

It won't matter what the state of the economy is. Hillary will raise huge amounts of money. Obama will give her his blessing as repayment of Bill's work on the hustings for him in 2012. Her election is a dead lock cinch.
If Obama succeeds in destroying the Republican Party, the Democrat in 2016 could be faced with just several fragments of the Republican Party rather than one unified party (like the situation in 1836 or that in 1860). In that case several lesser-known Democrats may make a try for the nomination.

This manner of stuff is in contravention to his oath, which he actually stated correctly in public this time. There is a higher power that does punish leaders on earth for oathbreaking.
