Most Americans don’t know this – but then this is a country that did reelect Obama – that Dear Ruler was sworn in for his second term yesterday. The Constitution says he’s to be sworn in on the 20th, and that’s probably the only part of the Constitution that Obama wants to stringently adhere to. But there was a grand opportunity for Obama --- he could delay the inauguration until today, the day of the official holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. After all! How could he resist! I would love to see someone figure out how much it cost the taxpayers to have this ceremony today rather than putting on the big Charlie Foxtrot yesterday, but I can’t see anyone in the ObamaMedia corps doing that.
My first tweet this morning read thusly:
"No plans to watch any news channel or program today. All about Dear Ruler's inauguration. Like watching a loved one being raped."
I’d rather rub salt and alcohol into bleeding hemorrhoids with an SOS pad than watch the coronation.
Since I am not watching my TV today will someone inform me of a few facts.
He was sworn in yesterday, do they do a fake swear in today in front of the Capitol,and then march down Pa. Ave.
Did they build the usual stands for the fake swear in?
Who (here) could stomach that anyway?

Wow, you're tough! I agree though. I'm not watching any news today - maybe for the next few days just in case the communist media is still salivating over the enshrining.
I'd rather have it available to burn for a purpose.
Only watched for a few seconds. Obama had his head up his a$$, Michelle looked liked she had a cold sore, oldest daughter kept quiet, youngest showed no discipline, grandma wore horrible peach color.
The lettering is nearly worn off of my mute button. Another 4 years will probably do it in.
I record 90% of what I watch and FF when BHO comes on the screen.....I care nothing about what he has to say. I also will not watch any of his coronation!!!

As I was being admitted, two nurses were standing in front of the TV on the wall watching the inauguration on CNN.
Another nurse came in to start her shift and asked the other two, "What's going on?"
"It's the inauguration." replied one of the other nurses.
"Oh. I thought it was something bad."
I piped up and said, none too quietly, "It is".
Nurse Number 3 turned to me and said, "No...I meant like a car accident or a fire."
I replied, "Well, it's a train wreck if that's what you mean."
No one said anything but they looked at me with that 'deer-in-the-headlights' look.
I stood there looking at them with eyebrows raised, waiting for any sort of reply, but they just turned back to the TV and continued watching.
I just shook my head and went back to answering the receptionist's questions.

I’ve been listening to Bluegrass Junction on Sirius every since I got up this morning.
I was listening to Steyn today and had to turn off my radio when they broke to upchuck shummer and the events in DC.
Rev James David Manning strongly suggested that we send a message to the media by not turning on the television at ALL DAY/NIGHT on Inauguration Day.
