Obama Hails Stonewall Riots as Civil Rights Landmark in Inaugural Address

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 21, 2013, (LifeSiteNews.com) – In his second inaugural address, President Barack Obama hailed a riot in which homosexual rioters, some dressed in drag, pelted police officers with bottles and attempted to set them on fire for raiding a mafia-controlled gay bar.

“We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths – that all of us are created equal – is the star that guides us still; just as it guided our forebears through Seneca Falls, and Selma, and Stonewall,” the president said just after noon today.

The Stonewall Riots took place on June 28, 1969, after plainclothes New York police officers raided a rundown gay establishment, which the Mafia ran without a liquor license, on morals charges.

Slightly after 1 a.m., the Greenwich Village streets around the Stonewall Inn filled with homosexuals, who pelted police with bottles. They slashed police car tires, attempted to overturn cars, and chased the police back inside the bar.

“We had maybe six people and by this time there were several thousand outside,” remembered Seymour Pine, a deputy inspector with the Morals Division, who led the bust. “The other side was coming like it was a real war. And that's what it was, it was a war…It was as bad as any situation that I had met in during the army.”

When not threatening police, the crowd confronted them, chanting: "We are the Stonewall girls/ We wear our hair in curls/ We don't wear underwear/ We show our pubic hairs."

Their actions, though, were deadly serious.

Hate to say it...but the women should have never gotten the vote. They have twisted the whole election and vote without thinking of the big picture.

As far as Susan B Anthony. Someone should remind folks that it wasn't until years after her death that women got the vote.

And gays....why does a perverted life style get presidential approval??

Obama lauded them as socialist heros, with hardly a word
for our armed forces and their families who have been
fighting for the last ten years.

Piss be upon him.

When the president in question is an anti-christ on deck,
why wouldn’t he “approve” of an anti-christian lifestyle?

When Clarence Thomas was accused of showing his pubic hairs, Obama didn’t approve of it.

The left wing template is to equate the so-called gay rights movement with the civil rights movement. In other words, being homosexual is the same as race - something you can’t do anything about, you are “born” gay just as each of us is born a certain race. Therefore homosexuality is not a “choice” and must be a “protected” minority group. At least that’s the line of “reasoning” that is being promoted.

Obama is pushing this lie just as he does with the economy and Benghazi, etc. It all creates chaos and unrest - ingredients needed for the “revolution”.

This is why it was so disastrous when so many conservatives absolutely refused to vote for Romney. Yes, it’s true that Romney was not the conservative we wanted, but Obama said from the beginning that his goal was to create a “new America”. FDR accomplished that back in the 1930’s and now, Obama has accomplished the same thing.

We are now a left wing European style of nation - Romney might not have turned the ship of state completely back to the right, but he definitely would have forestalled what we have now for a few years, maybe giving us a chance to change direction - but, barring some miracle from God (and that is always possible) I don’t see us ever changing back.

The problem isn’t women voting—it’s SINGLE women, especially single mothers.

Women naturally crave security and instead of getting it from a man they get it from the state. Health care, abortion pills, etc.

“Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law.”

But they are. A gay man, like any man, can marry a woman. A gay woman, like any woman, can marry a man. A gay couple can even marry, provided it's a gay man and a gay woman.

Think I'm joking? You never heard of Andrea Dworkin and John Stoltenberg?

Marriage is consummated by the marriage act. The marriage act is sexual union, and sexual union is uniting the sexes. Two men can't do that, and neither can two women --whether they're gay or straight.

When several hundred thousand marchers converged at the Eiffel Tower in Paris a cople of Sundays ago, I think this lady's sign said it best: ON VEUX DU SEXE NON DU GENRE.

WE WANT SEX, NOT GENDER!

(I admit I couldn't help smiling about the "traditionalist" gays' sign, "We're gayer without marriage.")

"They should have BEATEN THE FAGS UNCONCIOUS and then hauled ALL of them to the mental wards!!"

This is a deisgraceful post, and I reject it in the strongest terms.

The man reason we oppose behavior like the Stonewall scene, is that it hurts people, especially people who identify as "gay".

There was underage drinking and prostitution at Stonewall, including the statutory anal rape of underage boys. There was promiscuous copulation of all kinds, of the sort that invariably provides an ideal vector for disease epidemics, including AIDS in the 80's and cephalosporin-resistant gonorrhea today. It is a horrible thing to see teenage boys with gonorrhea of the throat and the anus.

I suppose there have always been same-sex couples who sought some sort of sexual gratification with each other in the privacy of their own homes. Though I cannot approve of this misuse of the gift of sexuality, at least they did what what did in the privacy of the bedroom. Nobody bothered them there.

But people do object to public vice, and the relentless pro-deviancy propaganda, now often backed by the coercive power of the State. We have a right to protect our children --- very much including our "gay" children --- from this intrinsically self-harming behavior. It is sad and disappointing. Even when I was a dyke, I realized that.

Don't advocate hurting gays. They hurt themselves and each other too much already.

What I was referring to was to beat the ones who were “ATACKING THE COPS” and take them to the mental ward. I do NOT really have a problem with gays who “keep thigs ot themselves”, but anymore so MANY of them do NOT keep things to themselves. They are now out there trying to DESTROY ALL of the “normal” things that have stood the test of tiome for millena. THOSE are the ones I have no use for. Such as the guy who is going to use the superbowl to PROMOTE GAY MARRIAGE!!

BTW—about 26 years ago..I waqs THREATENED by a GAY MAN who HATED me. He and some of his friends let me know that THEY were going to help him RAPE ME—then KILL ME!! They were NOT kidding. I was only 19—and it was on a job—the boss did NOT believ em when I told him—and they then let me kow that he was going to RAPE AND KILL ME the next DAY. He was QUITE DESCRIPTIVE of what he was going to do. NO one would stand up for me—so—feeling trapped—I had to quit.

SO...I do NOT feel that gays are some kind of “special, wonderful, exalted” people—as the media and government is trying to portray. I have a cousin who is almost certainly gay. I do NOT shun him—but try and stay friendly. He does NOT “push his lifestyle” though—llke so MANY of them do anymore.
