Cable from Chris Stevens was chock full of reports on regional violence, concerns about local security capabilities

Just hours before he died in a terrorist attack at the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Ambassador Chris Stevens sent a cable to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton painting a chaotic, violent portrait of the eastern Libya city and warning that local militias were threatening to pull the security they afforded U.S. officials....

[snip] Militia leaders told U.S. officials just two days before the attack that they were angered by U.S. support of a particular candidate for Libyan prime minister and warned “they would not continue to guarantee security in Benghazi, a critical function they asserted they were currently providing,” Stevens wrote in the cable the morning of Sept. 11, 2012.

[snip] Stevens’ cable is likely to become a central focus of congressional hearings that begin Wednesday -- hearings where Clinton will be pressed to explain why security for diplomats in the region wasn’t increased in the weeks before the attack and why so much reliance was placed on local security forces with dubious loyalties.

Just to clarify, all cables to the Department of State originating from our diplomatic posts abroad are addressed to the Secretary of State. The various tags on the cable direct internal distribution within State.

So this cable from the ambassador may or may not have been sent to Hillary personally.

I becoming more skeptical all of the time. It seems that there could be video evidence that Clinton and Obama ignored the Ambassador as he was pleading for security and the MSM, the State Department, and Holder would minimize the gravity of the oversight. There is nothing these folks could do that would be held under scrutiny and them being held accountable. There is no accountability with the powers that are in force in our country.

But, not to worry, we are “looking in to” what happened in Benghazi even though we did “everything” and had all the “proper safeguards” in place. The fbi is investigating to get to the bottom of it and learn all the details. Where are the folks who made it out? Are they going to testify since they were there?...........crickets.

Kind of like what just happened in Algeria. Americans dead and the clownmander-in-chief is looking for a “fuller understanding” of what happened. WHAT? Some terrorists (and I ain’t talking about folks who showed up for gun appreciation day) attacked and killed Americans. husseins response..............crickets.

And Hillary will have all the answers. She has the benefit of the internal State report, the testimony of others before Congress, and no doubt, some advance information from the Dems in Congress on what questions they will ask. This will be a whitewash. This will be a case of everyone being responsible for something, and no one being responsible for anything.

Hillary will say nothing to hurt her chances for the Presidency in 2016. This is just more political theater. And Hillary will be the star of the show. The MSM will make her into a heroine and the Reps the villains.

Colin Powell has admitted advising the Obama regime from the get go. Since he’s been so busy telling Republicans where to go. I suggest House foreign affairs committee subpoena (not request)subpoena Powell and order him to testify about Libya and Bengahzi. While seeking testimony around midpoint make sure to ask him if he voted or campaigned for the “creep”.
