Amid all the pomp and circumstance of inauguration weekend, Vice President Joe Biden showed a few of his 2016 cards as he mingled with some constituencies that would be key if he decides to run for president.
On Saturday, Biden attended the State Society of Iowa "First in the National Celebration" where he slipped up and referred to himself as the president instead of as the V.P.
"I'm proud to be president of the United States, but I am prouder to be…" Biden said as the crowd started to laugh and cheer. "I'm proud to be vice president of the United States but I am prouder to be Barack Obama, President Barack Obama's vice president."

Joe Biden is the nearest thing the Democrats have to a voice of moderation in their entire body.
Which means other Democrats will eat him alive, should he make such a daring move.

The two term limit will be removed so a president can run for more than two terms.

Sadly, an electorate stupid enough to re-elect Obama is stupid enough to elect Biden. As Mr. Steyn has written, sometimes a society is just to stupid to survive. We’ve reached that point.

The rats throw candidates like Biden, Sharpton, and Carol Mosely-Braun into the primary mix in order to attract media attention and make their real (designated) establishment cadidate look better by comparison. Biden will be there for the purpose of being somebody’s foil.

The Democrats may have a generational problem. They have sombody like Cory Booker or Julian Castro to run in 2020, but the youngsters won't be ready in 2016. They could jump the gun, but voters may be tired of inexperienced presidents by then.
Hillary Clinton looks tired and unwell. She may not run. Janet Napolitano will run but only as a joke (for other people). A woman like Gregoire or Gillibrand could run in the primaries, but she'll really be running for vice president.
Eight years in power will have made the Democrats tired and complacent. Andrew Cuomo may run, but Biden's chances to get the nomination aren't bad. The way the Republicans have been, he may just win the whole thing.
