"We are not disguising the fact that the various satellites and long-range rockets that we will fire and the high-level nuclear test we will carry out are targeted at the United States," the country's top military body said.

A U.S. special envoy warned North Korea Thursday against conducting a possible nuclear test, a day after Pyongyang hinted that it might push ahead with a nuclear test to retaliate against the U.N. Security Council resolution.
"Whether North Korea tests or not, it's up to North Korea. We hope they don't do it, we call on them not to do it. It will be a mistake and a missed opportunity if they were to do it," said Glyn Davies, the U.S. special envoy on North Korea policy, when asked about the possibility of a nuclear test by North Korea.
"This is not a moment to increase tensions on the Korean Peninsula. This is the opportunity (for North Korea) to seize the moment" to engage with the outside world, Davies said.
Is this the “gird your loins” moment that Joe Biden promised?
The Norks really need to stop mouthing off. We have enough commies to deal with here. Go fire your rocket at Pakistan or some other two-bit nation.
"In the new phase of our century-long struggle against the United States, we do not hide the fact that various satellites, long-range missiles that we will continue to launch and high-level nuclear test we will conduct will target our sworn enemy, the United States," said a statement from the North's National Defense Commission.
Bring it on Monkey Boy!
It’s time to renegotiate the cold war relic of a treaty that keeps our troops in harms way on the Korean peninsula.
South Korea has double the population and 50 times the economy of the North.
We don’t have any spare money or spare blood to give the Koreans.
I’m so glad the world respects us now. /s
North Korea, we hardly knew ye-before your country became a glass parking lot.
You make a valid point, however remember that behind Pyonyang is Beijing, and we all know what their designs are, and what the endgame is for their saber-rattling.
We’ve got troops is far less necessary places than Korea. Germany for example. What a waste of money.
Upon second thought though, if women are now going to be dying on our front line, I don’t want our military anywhere!
How long before the US completely surrenders?
Not to worry Obama and Hillary have everything under control.
With barry in charge? You’ve got to be kidding.
How can this be..I thought that once Obama took over everyone in the world would love us and there would be skittles and M&M’s falling from the sky
I KNEW that you could!
We should have several missiles aimed at their launch pad to take it out before it gets lift off. They have given suitable provocation to do so. No more mister nice guy!
As we become more like them, they will become less of a threat to us. Soon, we'll be having beer summits and the norks will be all cozy with us!
