“More than ever, foreign policy is economic policy,” Kerry continued. “The world is competing for resources and global markets. Every day that goes by where America is uncertain about engaging in that arena or unwilling to put our best foot forward and win, unwilling to demonstrate our resolve to lead, is a day in which we weaken our nation itself.

Kerry did not explain “economic patriotism,” but it was frequently a term used in the 2012 campaign by both President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden as a means for raising taxes.

“Economic patriotism” sounds like something a drug addict might say. Lighten up Hanoi Boi. You’re still an NVA commie-loving pig.

Not very “patriotic” of you, horseface, if you’re doing ANY sort of tax planning that results in you paying less...

Hey Lurch, don’t tell me about patriotism!

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.” - John Kerry, October 2006

So not only are we going back to the fascism of the 1930s, Kerry wants to go all the way back to mercantilism.

Forward!

I have a thought for Kerry and his economic patriotism. You sir have too much money, way more than you need. You have sucked at the government trough all your life and it is time for you to practice economic patriotism, write a check to the government for everything you have, other than income as a Senator and your pension. When you two faced, jack booted liberals do that I might listen to you, not will but might!

Economic patriotism to Kerry and his ilk is a euphemism for higher taxes. Remember, Joe Biden said that paying taxes is patriotic! Of course, those higher taxes don’t apply to those who impose them on us. They get raises, salary for life, and an Obamacare waiver.

Yes. The talk about "economic patriotism" is socialist and communist talk as has been well documented in socialist/communist countries. You will also hear "contributions" to support government programs for the children.

Our country has been dumbed down to the extent that useful idiots and the low knowledge voters outnumber the true patriots and hard workers who made this country great.

Anything which serves to reduce the taxes paid by business firms and their stock holders serves to increase substantially the supply of capital funds available and thus to promote capital accumulation and economic progress.

The above quoted words of Sen. Kerry demonstrate he should not become our Sec. of State. He speaks canned statist liberal nonsense and has not one brain cell in that melon sitting on top of his neck. If we could find a legal citizen at the check out counter of a 7-ll, that person would be more qualified for the position than Kerry.

Economic patriotism is at the center of every purchasing decision I make. I look at whether the purchase will increase the power of the thugs in our White Hose, and I avoid purchases that would harm America by strengthening Obama. I similarly look at whether a purchase would harm America by supporting the corrupt and violent union movement; I am pro-freedom, so I am in most cases anti-union. I vote on my beliefs with my dollars, and boycotting the corrupt is central to that vote. That is why GM, Chrysler, GE, Bank of America, and Citi, among others, will never get another dollar from me.
