Get ready for the first all Female SEAL team. (Once they retract the standards that they claim above as the same exact physical requirements.)
Like I said, I DO appreciate their Patriotism ... but this is wrong in so many ways.
They won’t. They can’t. For the same reason that women are not in the NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL.
Why are women not allowed to compete against men in pro tennis, volleyball, swimming, etc but its ok to compete against them in life or death fighting?
At least they are not demanding the same physical, anatomical *features*.
I was recycled TWICE after getting injured during the Mountain phase of Ranger school.
I just cant see many women getting through Ranger/BUDS/SF-Q courses.
11 B/11 A courses? Maybe. 18 series courses? Never.
As usual, the standards will be lowered for all, awards given for things not actually accomplished, etc, etc, etc.
If they want to try they should be able to but never drop the standards for anyone, male or female. Biology will figure out the rest.

P.S. As it is we hear females make claim they “did the same things the men had to do”, when we all know that isn’t even remotely true.
and once they grad from the easier course, they will pop positive for pregnant and well........there goes that training money down the drain.

The politically correct Army PR machine churns out all sorts of releases about women doing everything the men do only better. But the PT standards are never mentioned and there are DRASTIC differences in those.
So according to those unmentioned standards the female soldiers will arrive minutes later than men even thought they are carrying less weight and will have decisively less upper body strength to handle the mission.

That which made this country Fun and Beautiful and Exceptional——like the Romantic Period (Hugo/Dostoevsky)-—the Renaissance-—The Age of Reason—where the differences of men and women were celebrated and society was “Ordered” in the most productive, efficient way—to facilitate the flourishing of the next generation and Happiness when one does NOT try to ignore their basic nature-—WHICH, BTW, created strong character and the ideas of Individuality and Responsibility.
Today-—they want only the State to have control-—so they have to force little kids to see lies as “Truth”-—that men and women are exactly the same-—so Johnny can sodomize Tommy and it is “Good”.
Totally—to erase Christian Ethics and the ideas of Subsidiarity and Love and Loyalty and Responsibility, but particularly that idea of Individuality-—Individual Rights that come from God and make us so UNIQUE———so government becomes your Master. Equality—means removing “quality” from human existence. It is ugly, boring and evil.

When the desired stats are not met, standards will be lowered accordingly until they are.
(By the way, I know some very remarkable women who’d easily meet any existing standards...but it’s quotas “they” will be looking for...not qualifications.)

I was down at the Annapolis Naval Academy a few years ago. I passed a woman at the school. I overheard her say that she was going to work out. She was probably about 5’ 10 and about 190 pounds. Honestly, She could kick the butt of most men.
