Two teen girls were cuffed after they attacked a man on the subway in Brooklyn, authorities said.
Chantelif Solano, 18, and Shaquana Rhem, 17, began arguing with Charles Bunn, 55, on a northbound 3 train at the Utica Avenue subway station at 1 p.m. yesterday, police sources said.
They allegedly began hitting him in the face

Sounds like exotic venereal diseases to me.
No pictures needed. The baby momma told us all we need to know.
Obviously, the man must have “dissed” these girls in some way and received his deserved beatdown.
I thought it was species of Venutian fly traps.
I hope they’re not Chantelif and Shaquana I know.
This sounds like a job for Bernie Goetz.
Bernie Goetz had the right idea.
Isn’t there ANYONE in the black community with the brains to tell young baby momma’s that they are ruining their childrens lives AT BIRTH by giving them ridiculous made-up ‘
That sounds like a password no hacker could ever break!
Nomen est omen.
Perfect specimens for the ALL NEW (NOT SO) VOLUNTARY female front line Army.
We have no problem with using conventional lab rats for experiments so why not start here.
This has to be The Onion. WTF? Are we going to learn they were citizens of Grapedrankistan here on student visas?
Anyone that can link me to another website that shows these names are real (but not related to this article or incident) and I will make a $10 donation to FR in their name.
Something tells me I'm keeping my money.
I’m betting “whitey” did something entirely disrespectful to these girls like maybe telling them to not shout at each other across the aisle in the subway.
Chantelif Solano, 18, and Shaquana Rhem.... damn, when the Amish have that Rumspringer thing, all hell breaks out in NYC.
Let me guess,,Amish girls, right?
The meaning of the name Shaquana is Invented NameROTFL. By the way, I've been to Grapedrankistan. It's not purple, like you would think. It's green.
The origin of the name Shaquana is American
With the ‘rash of crimes’ ending up on the ‘social networks’ with the attackers occasionally manning the camera phone, maybe it is time to stop including cameras on cell phones.
ESPECIALLY on the give aways....
Give ‘them’ (the supposed needy) a simple phone, with automatic 911 set in, with maybe a few IMPORTANT #’s (who to call when arrested etc) and let it go at that.
Even give them 60 minutes a month..
Those phone could probably be mass produced for virtually nothing and the important part of the program will be met.
I know a genuine, 100%, accept-no-substitutes African, as in "black guy from Africa."
His name is Tim.
Victim is visually ‘african-american’ in the video. He lands a pretty good right on one chick and sits her down.
Another dark-skinned (taller) man separates the three — essentially stopping him from going after the two girls in earnest.
Just thug-on-citizen violence.
Either way, I don't read enough of news to remember seeing that in anything other than a Wayans brothers skit or something along those lines and then to toss in a Chantelif to the article just screams Onion. I guess i need a face-palm for not "keeping up?"
Ah, forgive my assumption (based on historical events).
Good thing that LaTrina and Skatanya were not involved.
You freepers are being too hard on Chantelif and Shaquana. Didnt you watch the video? Mr. Dunn clearly disrespected them by being white in their neighborhood. I also understand that in one time in history members of Mr. Dunns race held slaves. Now Mr. Dunn has upset their plans to turn their life around with his insensitive race. He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of Eric Holders law.
Went to college with a black man named Michael. He was “blue black,” as in he was so black he looked blue. Beautiful skin and the most down-to-earth person I’ve ever met. He was SO happy to be living in America. He was from Botswana.
Mr. Dunn appears to be African American himself.
I would agree with your idea, but there’s one problem...
...can you recall a time in your recent social memory where you saw a black woman who WASN’T on the phone?
It’s practically epic how much blacks are on the phone. A former co-worker, 40+ years my senior, used to comment, “Who the Hell could they be talking to? Who is THAT important that they have to be on the phone with them ALL the time?”
I knew a black woman who worked in a call center who would literally get out of the car with her sister, grab her phone, and they would continue their conversation as she walked into the office and her sister drove away.
Never in my life.
Yeah, after LaTrina, New Orleans was never the same..........
He probably still “dissed” them.
Being older, he probably expressed some dissatisfaction with the girls’ behavior in some way that they took offense to.
Ah, good wholesome American names.. (sarcasm off)
Ah yes but clearly lighter skinned
This wasn't a race-thing, this was a disrespect between the youth of today for the older generation. Not only is there no respect, there is pure disdain, race notwithstanding. I'm not young, but I still show respect for the older folks, black/white/whatever. I was happy to see him hold his own against 2 younger punks, and he was smart to not turn his back on them until they left. It seemed they still tried to get in a parting shot as they left the car...
All I can think of is whatever price he offered them was insulting.
Whoever wrote the headline should be smacked for calling a 55 year old guy “an older man”. WTH
Next time, open hand slap to the ear, or punch to the throat, or both.
NOT ‘scoldin’ at you, just ranting here...<:
Fine. I really don’t care what they do with something they EARNED themselves other than spit out rug rats and draw welfare.
If we MUST give them a phone, make it bareboned, some ridiculous color and very little in the way of amneties.
You don’t make people less dependent on others if you give them more than what the individual providers can afford or keep up.
Why work when Unka Sugah gives you a bounty on what your loins produce, food stamps, rent subsidies, free phone, next will be free car - and since THEY destroyed (not really) the older, serviceable cars, when we give THEM a new car it will have to be big enough to haul the brood around in.
Six of one, half a dozen of the other. No history, and somebody made it up. In the original, "invented name" is in a different font or something, and I took it as indicating the name doesn't have any (historical) meaning or significance. Sort of like "Esso" or "Exxon," just made up.
"Chantelif" doesn't even get a babynames entry ;-)
-- I guess i need a face-palm for not "keeping up?" --
I'd say you get a pat on the back for not wasting your time trying to keep up with this nonsense.
Oh, we’re on the same page, FRiend. Sorry if you thought I was ranting.
The guy should have put them on the ground and just pounded them into submission. Would have done us all a favor.
Chantalief and Shaquana.....names that just scream out “government assistance”
The Sudanese gent in my church is named “Moses.” So is his first son. There’s a daughter named “Monday”; naming a child for the day of birth is traditional in Sudan.
The Eritreans, however, have long, long names composed of elements from the names of their ancestors. Most of them turn out to be Biblical, in translation.
Who needs a gun in NYC?... Oh, never mind...
“Next time, open hand slap to the ear, or punch to the throat, or both.”
Since you brought up the headslap, I just have to bring up Deacon Jones’s Head Slap comment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm2l0pxYw-4
“Anytime you go upside a man’s head or a WOMAN, they have a tendancy to blink their eyes or close their eyes and that was all I needed.”
I had a roommate from Tanzania for a couple years, his name was Ron.
Really nice guy, but he sure didn’t like African Americans. Took me by surprise at first, but later I understood why. He shared a story of when he first arrived in the US (Chicago), he needed directions to the bus station and figured he’d get the best help asking another man of color. He repeatedly asked the gentlemen to repeat what he was saying because he couldn’t understand him. Finally he gave up and found an elderly white man who happily gave him directions.
The whole thing must have burned him pretty bad because every time he told that story he always closed it with, “these people... they are NOT my brothers.”
I tried to tell him that all black people in the US aren’t like that, but he refused to change his mind.
An interesting study showed that people with peculiar names are not doomed to meaningless lives, but that their parents probably live that way. No joke.
Or La-a (pronounced La-Dash-A).
Really? Thats encouraging!
