This commercial seems more like a celebration of consequence-free sex for men at the expense of unintended pregnancies being aborted as a form of birth control. Is this really the message of the 'women's rights movement' on the Left?

I think abortion is a symptom. The disease is a mindset that is contemptuous of a Supreme Being and His laws.
Gehinnom is a place outside ancient Jerusalem known in the Hebrew Bible as the Valley of the Son of Hinnom. Originally, it was believed that this was a location where children were sacrificed to Moloch, a false god.
And that’s what we do today - sacrifice children to the false god of sexuality and expediency. We all pay the price for tolerating the abomination of this way of thinking.
I have seen this video twice, and couldn’t believe it the first time, thinking it was a spoof based on a brilliant
skit Tim Meadows did in a series on SNL about 15 years ago:
THE LADIE’S MAN. Meadows was seen sitting in a plush easy chair with sultry mood music playing, and he’d introduce himself as Leon Phelps, the Ladie’s Man ( the name of his radio sex-advice show) -—he’d always have his large snifter
of Courvoisier sitting on the table next to him, sipping from it as he’d dispense the most brazenly irresponsible advice to his callers-—some of it must be on YouTUBE, I haven’t checked.
I remains one of my favorite things EVER on SNL.
This sickening video is a direct descendant of that great piece of satire/social criticism, The Ladie’s Man.
The big difference is that the 40th anniverary video celebrates the sleazy lifestyle and abortion (characterizing Roe V. Wade as if it’s a “lover” the Philistines have been trying to stigmatize), and implying that after all, without abortion, these “relationships” would not be possible.
I expected a backlash against this thing, but consider both the source and the intended audience, parts of which must be somewhat embarrassed by it.

You are right about the mindset. It is the collective fist in the air.
However, I would call abortion not the symptom but the sad result that leaves baby's bodies obliterated and souls shattered.

Having just read a few of Ms. Barnhardt’s takes on a number of subjects, I can’t wait to read her take on this!
They don’t even have to hide it anymore.

A “parody” video of this one, as I describe in my post #14, has ALREADY been made, presciently about 15 years ago, on SNL and it was called “The Ladie’s Man”.
