Give the punk(s) involved 10 years over and above what they’d ordinarily get.

I heard about this, thanks for posting it. And, I’ll bet he has a gun, too, and isn’t giving it up.

This is some fantastic stuff going on here. Way to go Michael Berry and his listeners!

Michael Berry is a conservative who is not afraid of anything. A breath of fresh air on the radio. He is someone who I believe will be heard across the nation in the future.

If he didn't, he does now.

Un-named sources also report a new security system at the house.

BooYah.

As much as I hate to expose my shallowness..

He's easy for me to listen to because he talks like me.

Foreign accents tend to put me off.

As I read about people looking into leaving America, I can’t even think of leaving Texas. Where in the hell would I go?

Hopefully the one might be an option without the other.

Just sayin' and lip syncin'....

The two times I’ve visited the Houston area, I’ve been impressed on how nice the people were. This just proves my assessment was not incorrect. God bless those Marines and volunteers for showing up to help a member of the Greatest Generation that needed it.

As for the feral teenaged punks who did it, I have a suitable punishment in mind. It involves telling this story to a bunch of Marine DI’s then remanding those little pukes over to their care. That’s all I’ll say about that.

When the petition to secede was signed by over 100k people, many thought it was sour grapes after the election. They haven't grown up in Texas. I'm 61 and this has been talked about for all of my 61 years. If it could be done without bloodshed, I think it would have already been done. We keep hoping things will swing our way in the country, but the NE and California can't seem to sober up long enough to think about what they are doing. IMO, when California comes to DC to get a bail out, Texans will explode. If you want to be like Texas, act like Texas. They just can't seem to admit they are insane.

Many think we are bragging when we just state the obvious, but what we really want is everyone else to follow us. They are too stubborn to admit they are wrong so the divide just gets larger. Texas is a friendly place, but to be honest, the snowbirds and the illegals are changing the character of the state. I don't want to lose the last place on the whole planet I could live. It's OK if you don't like me or agree with me, but don't think you will change me. In Texas, I can still be who I am and shoot the Yankee, baby killin, flag burnin, stool pusher commie bastids, that don't like it.

Thank you for the post and ping. I’ve been following this on the radio, and the outpouring of money and help for this deserving veteran reinforces my faith in the wonderful people of Texas. “No one left behind.”

Michael Berry has already earned his place in Heaven, but with this he has sealed the deal.

May God bless every last one of you dang Rednecks! Yer the Salt of the Earth.

Good, I was worried about his future. Once thugs know an old man lives alone, it’s open season. I keep thinking about the horrible murder of 2 elderly people in Tulsa. They were defenseless.
