After a three-year run as a paid contributor to the nation’s highest-rated cable news channel, Sarah Palin and FOX News have cut ties, according to a source close to the former Alaska governor.
“It’s my understanding that Gov. Palin was offered a contract by FOX, and she decided not to renew the arrangement,” the source close to Palin told RCP. “She remains focused on broadening her message of common-sense conservatism across the country and will be expanding her voice in the national discussion.”
The source declined to say whether Palin would pursue a television contract with another news network, such as CNN.
After resigning as governor in 2009, Palin became one of FOX News’ marquee on-air assets, appearing frequently across its programming and often generating headlines for her memorable and characteristically provocative commentary.
In 2010, FOX News constructed a studio inside Palin’s Wasilla, Alaska, home where her husband Todd would sometimes act as cameraman and producer during her live television appearances.
Palin’s relationship with FOX appeared to take several rocky turns. In a Facebook post during the Republican convention last August, for instance, the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee lamented that the news channel had “cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight.”
A spokesperson for FOX did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Yep, Alan is consistent and has been making sense for decades. I voted for Keyes in the 2000 GOP primary.

One problem with that combo. Palin has actually won an election. Keyes hasn’t. And the only thing Keyes has run is his mouth.
Strange isn’t it that if you “resign” you are leaving and yet if you do NOT “re sign” you also leaving? One could say, “I am not going to re-sign and I am going to resign.” How does anybody ever learn English?

Where have you been? Sarah was on Hannity and Greta almost weekly for awhile in the past two years and also did favors for FOX business network by doing multiple interviews.
I plan on increasing my amount in the future. So I can become a Dollar a day member, but for now I can do this.
I apologize for not being a dollar a day member now but I just shot my wad with some Car repairs that totaled....several Hundred Dollars.

Fox is not a RINO network because Fox never claimed to be “republican”. Fox News is and always has been center and non-partisan.
We should never play into the hands of the left by calling what is “center” to be pro-republican because in the eyes of the left “republican”= far right even if it’s Sue Collins.
The left loves to tag anything center as far right because they are trying to move “center” leftward.
It was the left who started with this Fox News = Republican. I suppose it’s easy to think that when you look at the alternative far left Clinton loving MSM.
I don’t watch TV news that much but when I do it’s Fox and not MSNBC that I watch and when I do watch them I never think to myself that they are at all a republican network.

As a former Alaska resident myself, I can say she is a great lady and I wish her the best.
I still believe she will have a great influence on our nation in the future at the appointed time, apart from FOX news.
And I like Sarah a lot, too.
