No murders in NYC over 9 days amid frigid temps (Global Warming alert...)

They must have frostbite on their trigger fingers.

The deep freeze that has New Yorkers shivering in their boots has been a crime-fighting blessing for the NYPD — and as of midnight had given the city a nine-day streak without a murder, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

“Jack Frost is the policeman’s best friend,” said a source. “The criminals are staying indoors.”

The Big Apple’s last murder occurred Jan. 16 in The Bronx, where Jennifer Rivera, 20, and her uncle, Jason Rivera, 30, were gunned down execution-style while sitting a parked car, police said.

Rivera had a criminal drug history, sources said.

You realize, of course, that all this bottled-up tension at being unable to kill and steal during this cold snap, will only result in a mass rampage once the weather warms up again.

The deaths from the exposure to cold and the economic damage wrought from the extended deep freeze, no doubt, probably tend to keep the death and destruction of property in about the same balance as the uninterrupted pillage visited upon the people of NYC during warmer periods.

To use the left’s logic, human activity causes global warming. Therefore, if fewer humans are on the streets committing crimes, the lower the temperature. The deep freeze is the result of criminals staying inside, not that crime is low because it's cold.

Now, can I be president of the USA, too?

Warm weather to be outlawed. Climate change is a solution, not a problem. Lord be praised!!

You’re exactly right. When the weather warms up after the winter, the savages from the projects flood into Manhattan to rob people to make up for lost time when it was cold. It used to be called “Chain Season.” Now it’s called “iPhone Season.”

Clearly, this indicates that the poor and underprivileged do not have adequate access to proper winter clothing. Therefore Governor Cuomo needs to institute a program to insure that the poor have access to winter clothing, including mittens with trigger fingers. (I recall being issued mittens with index fingers in the Army.)

More likely the poor and underprivileged not using low temperature lubrication on their assault weapons!

And all that talk of how an old and abused AK will always fire¿?

This is misleading; the bodies haven’t started to smell yet due to the cold.

There hasn’t been a murder here in a couple years and I can’t even remember when there was a gun involved. It was in the 80s yesterday.
