A gang of elite British Army soldiers who smuggled drugs and guns into the UK have been jailed for a combined total of almost 50 years today.
Trooper Lemar Loveless, 26, masterminded the operation to bring a cache of guns, ammunition and £70,000 worth of cocaine through the Channel Tunnel loaded into the back of BMWs.
He had discharged himself from the Queen's Royal Hussars, the most senior light cavalry regiment of the British Army, just days before his arrest.

(Soon the "invisible hand" will press the economic "reset" button.)
And I thought our distressed, disenfranchised & perennially troubled youts got that way from slavery, repression, white man’s greed and an absence of reparations!
How come this??
Those are "elite" soldiers? With the expressions on their faces indicating a moronic IQ level? Vacant, sullen-for all the world like the mug shots of any gangbanger-those are the "elite"?!

(I'll take a bad dog over a good politician any day!)
I'm a soldier in the Queen's Army. I'm a galloping Queen's Hussar. I've sailed the ocean wide and blue. I'm a chap who knows a thing or two. Been in many a tight corner. Shown the enemy who we are. I can ride a horse. Go on a spree, or sing a comic song. And that denotes a Queen's Hussar.
They'll be needing a new verse to the Regimental Song, I suspect. Winston Churchill was commissioned into the 4th Hussars, one of the antecedent regiments of the QHR in 1895.
