Yesterday, at a yard sale, I bought a box of old pieces of fabric. There were six yards of sheer ecru curtain fabric, and some squares of dark red brocade. Today, I took out the sewing machine and made the sheers into a huge panel for my sliding glass doors. I tore the brocade into strips and made rod loops and a matching stripe along the top, and made the remaining brocade into a matching pillow. Then I covered the piano bench with a Chinese silk that had a similar color and rearranged the living/dining room. It really looks nice.

Linda is not amused though, that I moved furniture around. She was happy eith the way it was.
