Four shootings -- two of them double homicides -- and a stabbing left 7 people dead Saturday, authorities said.
The killings brought the number of homicides in 2013 to 40.
In what appeared to be the last homicide of the day, a 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed about 11:50 p.m. in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The stabbing happened during a domestic argument in the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
The man, identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office as Willie Wilson of the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, was found unresponsive on the scene. He was pronounced dead there at 11:55 p.m. with a stab wound to the chest.

BTW, why isn’t this a daily story by all the black columnists in Chicago? Because all the shooters & victims are black? As I understand it, the greater majority of the killings in Rahmistan on the Lake (Chicago) come from four Chicago PD districts on the Southside. Obviously, this is where the crime is, but Da Mare’s strongest statement is for the gangbanger’s to stop shooting kids and take their turf wars to the side streets and alleys where they belong to avoid collateral damage. That’s the ticket to sold crime fighting in Chicago, Rahm!
Ever notice the politicians never try to get guns away from the violent criminals? They only try to take them away from honest, non-violent, law-abiding individuals?

Double homicides don’t make national news like “rampage shootings” do even though the one in Sheila Jackson Lee’s district in Texas turned out to be standard gun play between “dissed parties” with no deaths.

Of course, I am going by the names of the two victims in one of the double homicides. This is by no means conclusive, which is why I said “suppose”. Looking at Google Maps, the victims lived in North Lawndale, adjacent to West Garfield Park where they were killed. Wikipedia lists these neighborhoods as 91.43% and 96.19% black, respectively, so I dunno. It’s a question.
