- Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said that the Republican Party has to accept a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants as part of an immigration-reform package.
McCain said on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday that a group of bipartisan senators would be announcing “principles” on immigration reform this week, which he said was similar to a plan unveiled during President George W. Bush’s second term that ultimately failed.
McCain said there’s one big reason that his party has to loosen its opposition to providing a path to citizenship.
“Look at the last election,” he said. “We are losing dramatically the Hispanic vote, which we think should be ours for a variety of reasons, and we’ve got to understand that.”

You can get your illegals citizenship just as soon as mexico grants Americans free and unimpeded access to mexico, along with the right to buy and own any property there outright. Oh, and don’t forget to allow them to arm themselves to fend off the drug lords and gangbangers that litter the landscape in mexico. If you agree to those terms, people might be willing to deal, otherwise you can just keep endorsing your central american slave labor trade to the usual suspects.

Again, you cannot point to a single state where the hispanic vote determined the outcome.
Hispanic votes are concentrated in already democratic strongholds like California and New Mexico. The could get 100% of the hispanic vote in those states and it wouldn’t change the outcome.

Providing free citizenship to those who do not respect the law only puts out the sign to invite another 20 million to invade.
Making everyone pass a legal resident/citizen database test for a drivers license, for a job, for any government benefit? Absolutely.
DEPORTING EVERY ILLEGAL that is identified? Absolutely. Keeping families together so that illegal kids are going home with their parents? Absolutely. This is what other countries do.

The big question I would ask, What is that path? My folks followed a path to citizenship when they came here from Switzerland.That path was much more involved than just sneaking across the border. It took years.Sure,there ought to be a way someone productive and skilled can immigrate here. But just slipping in and voting dimocrat isn’t going to cut it.
However, it is all part of the muslim in chief’s plan to destroy. We are all infidels to him, and financial destruction, racial conflict, job destruction, are all part of the plan. Since a majority of the working class folk own most of the weapons, it would help to disarm them first, so they couldn’t put down riots or throw out the corrupt government too quickly for his plan to succeed.He doesn’t care on bit about some infidel’s children, or who wins/loses, as long as the destruction is as great as he can possibly make it.Fortunately,it looks like at least some Americans have woken up to this. Maybe it won’t work out the way he planned after all, although he has done plenty already.

(16) deny citizenship to illegals who defaulted on mortgages (and other debt).
(17) deny citizenship to illegals who skipped out on arrest warrants (violates US criminal law w/ arrest/jailtime for contempt).
